EXCLUSIVE — Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy admitted he made false claims about his voting history after the Washington Examiner confronted the 2024 Republican contender with state election records.
Ramaswamy notably asserted in two interviews released on June 30 and July 12 that he did not vote until 2020, when he backed former President Donald Trump over now-President Joe Biden. However, the wealthy entrepreneur actually first voted in the 2004 presidential election for the late Libertarian nominee Michael Badnarik, according to Ramaswamy as well as Ohio database records in Butler and Franklin counties.
"It was a throwaway vote," Ramaswamy said in an interview with the Washington Examiner, emphasizing he purportedly forgot about heading to the polls in 2004, when he was 19, and "was disgusted" at the time with both Republican George W. Bush and Democrat John Kerry, the other nominees. "A throwaway vote in that I knew it was a candidate who was not going to win."
The White House hopeful's campaign had initially said Ramaswamy didn't remember who he voted for after this reporter contacted it with the state records, which list his political participation but not specific candidates. His campaign previously claimed Ramaswamy thought he "must have voted Republican" in 2004 but then said he voted for Badnarik.
"I was very cynical and jaded," the 2024 candidate said, later adding that he didn't remember the 2004 vote because "it wasn't meaningful to me" since Ramaswamy had just graduated High school. "I remember being, as I was, very disaffected. John Kerry versus George Bush left me deeply uninspired. And, you know, I didn't think my vote was going to make a difference."

You put an illegal alien up for president and of course he’ll lie. His entire life is a lie Starting with his naturalization status thinking he’s eligible to run for president. And why would anyone want to vote for a guy who skipped the 2016 voting?
Soros connections, J6, Trump Criticizer, CCP connections, Oh My!CodeMonkey has done some great work over the last few days. I’ve compiled it into one post.
WHAT WAS FOUND SO FAR:
1.) Vivek Criticism on Trump re J6: “What Trump did last week was wrong. Downright abhorrent. Plain and simple. I’ve said it before and did so in my piece.”
3.) Vivek Praised Snapchat for Banning Trump
7.) Vivek says All Americans are responsible for J6
8.) Viveks Company Roivant highlighted by Soros Fellowship & Vivek as a very friendly
&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&
Some Thoughts:
Vivek Ramaswamy has way too many red flags!
The times we are living in right now, where George Soros is destroying America with his money, we simply cannot take a chance on someone who has these kinds of connections, not just to Soros, but also to the CCP.
His criticism on Trump re: J6 was unwarranted. Trump did nothing wrong. And to say all Americans are responsible, tells me he is not for We The People.
We the People saw something was wrong with the election & we peacefully protested on J6. The FBI & our government set us up.
Vivek Ramaswamy doesn’t deserve any office. He’s a deep state swamp creature at worse. He’s a lying ass flag that blows wherever the wind blows at best.
NO to Vivek RamaSWAMPY!
“I saw him admit in an interview he supports transvestites in the military.”
My personal preference is that obvious whackos should not be given access to fully automatic weapons.
I suppose praising this candidate is a way, by some, to cut the ground from under Governor DeSantis.
It may work; but at what price?
This guy is a huge glaring screaming NO!!!
He is a flim flam man. A disciple of PONZI. He is no good at all.
Mainstream GOP types are so bad we have to turn to guys like Vivek.
“ First dumb move I’ve seen Vivek make so far.”
**************************************
Well, supporting transvestites in the military isn’t the most brilliant move.
He hid a vote?.......means he’s hiding plenty.
Yeah, no way I’d vote for him. jorge busho taught me that if I have to hold hold my nose to vote, it’s better to just stay home.
Ramaswampy.
Agreed. I voted Libertarian instead of Reagan in my first Presidential vote, which was a lot longer ago, and I darn sure remember it. At least I had come along enough to not vote Democrat (Carter), even though I was a GA resident by then. And of course voted for Reagan’s re-election 4 years later.
The self serving, Ramaswamy has a hidden agenda.
He is trying to ingratiate himself so as to gain cultural inroads .......and status.....in US politics.
Plus he is looking to co-opt Trump for a high govt job.....maybe VP.
Trump should beware.
Ramaswamy is image-obsessed......
Trump cant have a VP who loves to hear the sound of his own voice, who would be continually vying to grab the spotlight away from the president.

Ramaswamy’s Bermuda-based company, Axovant Sciences, had been formed only eight months earlier, but here it was raising $360 million to develop an Alzheimer’s drug that had been all but abandoned by giant pharma GlaxoSmithKline.
On the first day of trading the stock almost doubled, giving Axovant a market capitalization of nearly $3 billion. Considering that Ramaswamy had persuaded Glaxo to part with the unproven remedy for a mere $5 million up front, the newlyweds were ecstatic, as was a veritable wedding party of hedge fund pals who had followed Ramaswamy into the stock.
Yet as quickly as it started, the honeymoon was over. Why would Glaxo sell off a promising drug for so little? critics asked. And how could a company with ten employees, two of whom were Ramaswamy’s mother and brother, be worth so much? Experts, analysts and the collective blogosphere quickly piled on, and Axovant’s shares went into free fall. By early September they were trading 12% below the IPO price.
Using a pharmaceutical holding company he formed last year, Roivant Sciences, Ramaswamy hopes to spin out dozens of companies, much as he did with Axovant. “This will be the highest return on investment endeavor ever taken up in the pharmaceutical industry,” he boasts. “It will be a pipeline every bit as deep and diverse as the most promising pharma company in the world but with a capital efficiency that is unprecedented.”

Illegal alien? He was born in the US and his parents were legal immigrants.
Anchor baby that is not loyal to this nation. He’s a typical Indian socialist and trying to hide his true colors. Just like the female Indian socialist also running.
THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THIS GUY THAT RINGS TRUE
I WOULD WRITE IN RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER BEFORE I VOTE FOR HIM
HIS SCHOLARSHIPS WERE PROVIDED BY SOROS????? THAT ALONE IS ENOUGH
Context is king.
He’s the Andrew Yang Republican wing.
