San Francisco's response to the COVID-19 crisis resulted in one of the lowest coronavirus-related death tolls among U.S. metropolitan cities, a study has found.
According to the study conducted by University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) researchers and the San Francisco Department of Public Health (SFDPH), the city implemented "one of the most intensive, inclusive and multi-pronged" COVID responses in the U.S., leading to one of the lowest fatality rates among U.S. cities across all ages and ethnicities.

COVID ran through the San Francisco-San Jose Bay Area well before the city, state, and country announced their lockdowns. I would love to know their timeline for determining the city’s effectiveness.
I call that study utter BS. They didn’t count the homeless and nor did they account for the number of people that abandoned the city.

Exactly. SF Democrats all said it was “RACIST!!!” to even mention Covid. Pelosi told people to go to Chinatown and enjoy themselves and that Covid was just Orangemanbad being racist against the Chinese.
In short SF was PROUD of their non-response to Covid.
Does that statistic include getting your hair washed, blown and dried while not wearing a required mask, in a hair salon mandatorily closed by the government because of Covid?

A city that currently has a solid reputation of NOT GETTING ANYTHING RIGHT suddenly hit a Hole-in-One on Covid-19 response? Sure.

And unironically I was just reading today how Floridas and Ohios Covid reactions caused more deaths and destruction.....

Wonder how they controlled for population demographics. SF not a typical retiree haven for any not very wealthy.
In other news, the SFDPH has announced that a study has confirmed that SF has the lowest amount of human fecal matter on public streets among all major U.S. cities!
Truth is not in any way important to the Democrat/Communist Left.
You know, SOME city was going to have the best outcomes, and that city, like every other city, was going to have implement SOME sort of COVID measures.
The idea that you can credit whatever COVID measures they used with the random result of being the “best outcome” is silly.
I implemented “COVID” policies for my life, and I did not die, so I guess they worked....... :)
