Now we have a major homeless and suicide problem among our Vets, and our kids can't even find work in the fields they trained in because we've either outsourced them or imported cheap labor.
And all of this was for the promise of cheaper products which were supposed to benefit the consumers. So where are the cheaper prices we were promised?
It's no surprise that this, which was engineered by Conservatives with help from Bill Clinton, was left out of the op-ed's narrative. We can't blame the left for what "we" did. The fact that Bill Clinton was all in for this should have told us something, but all we could see was new, hi tech TVs every year to watch those NFL games we're supposedly boycotting.
It isn't just the left that deserves the blame for this.
You can blame the bush league chamber of commerce worshipping republiCAN’Ts for most of this.
As for the veterans getting screwed, you can thank them for that too.
