DHS Deputy: Biden’s Border Policy Expands Cartels’ Wealth and Reach
Breitbart ^ | 25 Jul 2023 | NEIL MUNRO

Posted on 07/25/2023 8:44:10 AM PDT by Mr. Mojo

A top official at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has admitted the federal government’s catch-and-release policies are helping the cartels grow rich by ushering more of their migrant clients into American jobs.

The admissions came from Blas Nunez-Neto, who is Alejandro Mayorkas’ deputy for border and immigration policy at DHS:

We see migrants now routinely paying smuggling organizations vast sums of money — often more than $10,000 to $15,000 — to facilitate their journey to the border. This is so lucrative [for the cartels], in fact, that we are now seeing the drug cartels increasingly becoming a key player in not just collecting taxes for people who transit through their territory [in Northern Mexico] — which is what we saw historically — but actually moving people and becoming deeply involved in human smuggling, not just in Mexico, but throughout the region, including, you know, in [South America’s] Colombia and Darien [Gap] region.

“It is clear that the length of time is now taking to get through the immigration court process has become a significant pull factor [emphasis added] that is driving migration throughout the region. I think we are seeing the court system, essentially become a proxy legal pathway for people to come into the United States and work while they’re here … and it’s leading to these huge backlogs that we are seeing in the courts as well.”

”All of these factors together, I think, are just drawing people to come because even if someone is ordered removed after four to six years, that is still a substantial amount of time for people to be able to be in the United States and working.”

I support ZERO immigration for 5-10 years, like we did in the 20s.

And totally shutting down the Mexican border-esp. the Ports of Entry-to any human traffic. Only manufactured goods/foods/beverages move across the border - and that being heavily inspected.

One of the interesting factoids about that is that limiting immigration from Japan was one of the things that kicked off the hostilities that ultimately led to Pearl Harbor. Up to that point Japan and the US, while maybe not being on the best of terms, still were mostly friendly towards each other, we even let Yamamoto come to Harvard.

But they felt it was an insult, and it empowered the militarists who did see the US as an enemy.

I’ve been thinking for some time about the least complicated reason our Federal Government is doing little to stop the illegal alien invasion and actually incentivizing it. It’s like people in high places have been hopelessly compromised by the drug cartels. Occam’s razor.

Te cartel ‘infrastructure’ will take DECADES to de construct. That's if we can ever summon the political/social spine to attempt it.

When Prohibition ended, the pipeline for booze remained and gambling, drugs and prostitution replaced the booze.

If crooks put time, effort and expense into an illegal trafficking enterprise, they won't walk away and abandon it just because the ‘product’ is replaced.

Mayorkas and Biden are clearly in the pay of the Cartels.

How else are they going to round up and bring in 7 million illegal aliens in 2 1/2 years?

An order of removal is worthless unless the alien is in custody and is going to be immediately removed.

In 98% of the cases the alien is a no show at their hearing and the alien is issued a removal order in absence.

This basically means that unless ICE make a priority in removing a specific alien no one is even looking for them.

Normally ICE would pick up and remove such people while doing regular state and local jail checks. But with sanctuary cities and states even that is a no go.

Basically they are home free for life in the USA.

Why do I only hear myself saying they are working with the cartels? Isn’t it completely obvious? Every policy is for the cartels.
Drugs, open borders, allow crimes for drug money, poor education, handcuff the police.
Dear God it’s so obvious.
