Dystopian surveillance is here and providing a growing market for tech entrepreneurs. Police agencies are daily using artificial intelligence to identify "suspicious" patterns of behavior in millions of random cars caught on surveillance cameras connecting with databases of ownership, and enabling searches and arrests. In an era with politicized law enforcement, what could go wrong?

Does AI racially profile?
This is the sort of thing that will lead to harassment of innocent individuals. Some brilliant designers create a “profile” of what to their microscopic minds seems to be “suspicious” behavior.
Many cars’ movements will fall into one or more of their “profiles” and be flagged. Like when a drug dog sits down next to your car the police strip your car to the bone looking for the drugs that aren’t there.
At the end you don’t even get an apology.
was that translated from another language?
AI weaponization...
but only when it’s convenient for the democrat agenda.
AI is programmed to do the will of those controlling it.

Here in the hood the police might track you but there aren’t enough police to do anything about it. Just last night I was driving slowly down the interstate at 80 mph in a 65 zone. People were honking at me because I was driving too slowly.
Mrs rktman’s car has been pretty suspicious acting lately.
“drug dog sits down next to your car the police strip your car to the bone looking for the drugs that aren’t there.”
Never leave loose dog biscuits in your vehicle.

Electric Eye - Judas Priest
Up here in space, I’m looking down on you
My lasers trace everything you do
You think you’ve private lives, think nothing of the kind
There is no true escape, I’m watching all the time
[Pre-Chorus]
I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean
[Chorus]
I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye
[Verse 2]
Always in focus, you can’t feel my stare
I zoom into you, but you don’t know I’m there
I take a pride in probing all your secret moves
My tearless retina takes pictures that can prove
[Pre-Chorus]
I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean
[Chorus]
I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye
[Guitar Solo]
[Bridge]
Electric eye, in the sky
Feel my stare, always there
There’s nothing you can do about it
Develop and expose
I feed upon your every thought
And so my power grows
[Pre-Chorus]
I’m made of metal
My circuits gleam
I am perpetual
I keep the country clean
[Chorus]
I’m elected electric spy
I’m protected electric eye
[Outro]
I’m elected electric spy
I’m elected, protected, detective, electric eye
I obey Stop signs and use my turn signals. I’m sure that’s considered ‘suspicious’ behavior in some places.
The real issue is that the municipalities will use this to generate revenue. Like the red light cameras, they will be sending out tickets left and right to anyone that the AI identifies as doing anything that breaks the traffic laws, like using a cell phone. The main motivator for this is municipal greed.
By definition, the answer is “Yes!” Because everything is racist to a racist. 🙄
Well they can start with those folks who go the speed limit in the passing lane.
What don’t you comprehend about limit? The left lane isn’t the autobahn.
Lol, was just thinking that when I went to get in my car this am, it was moved a few inches from where I parked it. It was probably out at an illegal poker game after dark last night lol
No, the idea is to use it to pass the slower cars and then get out of the passing lane.
It’s ok to go over the speed limit as long as you return to the speed limit once you’re done passing the cars ahead of you.
I know- when driving, I drive 55 (”save lives and gas” mantra fro the 80’s) on throuhgways in the slow lane, and think “cops be like “why he driving 55? Might be up to so sumthin”) lol
“Driving While Republican” will be a felony.
This is not really new.
A few years ago my wife and I on 2 separate trips to our downtown and back, saw 2 vehicles pulled over with the drivers/riders on their knees outside their vehicle with their hands behind their head being cuffed. Piles of small to medium size plastic wrapped bundles were outside the
vehicles.
One of our non DNA sons is a sergeant with another county’s sheriff dept. We asked him with thousands of vehicles on the roads, how did the cops know which one to pull over. He said to think nationally, re who had the resources to identify which vehicles to pull over.
A retired CHP officer told us the same, re who had the resources to identify which vehicles to pull over.
