Chicago police say two women were attacked with a broken bottle during a fight among a large group of well-dressed people in Streeterville on Sunday evening.
A Snapchat video showed a couple dozen people gathered in the 200 block of East Ontario as police tried to disperse the group around 8:50 p.m. Some people in the group are decked out in formal wear. Other Snaps from the area were sent from a wedding ceremony where some people appeared to be wearing outfits similar to those seen in the crowd. One Snap showed police officers in the reception hall.
Police said a “known offender” attacked two women in the group with a glass bottle. A 24-year-old suffered small cuts to her arm and head. A 27-year-old received a cut on her left arm. Both were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.

A well prepared wedding photographer will have gotten drone footage of the fight to be cherished for generations.

My cousin ended up with a bloody nose, sitting on the side of the curb, at his wedding. I think alcohol had something to do with it . . . . . .

After my wedding reception, where my new brother in-law imbibed 90% of a bottle of Firewater, he proceeded to scream at his spouse in front of their 4 small children, shatter his windshield with a punch, before jumping out of the vehicle and fleeing into the night.
A call was received from the police around 2:30 AM, (at my new mother and Father in-law’s) to come and pick him up, as he was found running down a residential street, drunk, naked and kicking a plastic cover taken from someone’s yard lightpost down the middle of the street.
When my father and brother in-law went to get him out of jail, they asked the police, “Can we beat him?”
They said, “Sure, just wait until after you leave to do it.”

Streeterville is a wealthy area with fancy hotels that are good wedding venues.
