IMO, the scamdemic was the test & the ‘failure’ rate was epic. The vast majority of churches closed down, just when people needed faith & their faith family to fight the fear & loneliness imposed with premeditated destruction by the evil ones. The church where I grew up (still technically a member), pretty much closed for 2 years and is just recovering as far as numbers of people returning to the pews. However, the preaching is milquetoast. Nothing comes from the pulpit regarding the evil that is upon us and against the clear Word of God in the Bible.
I have found another church where the pastor faithfully & truly tended his flock during the scamdemic & his preaching is powerful & reflects that “The Bible is our final authority in all matters of faith and life.” This church is 2 hours away so I attend online.
I see a shift going on - churches embracing homosexuality, the trangender ‘cult’ currently raging, the killing of babies via abortion, & everything “woke” while some (fewer, IMO) are standing firm on the Word of God & splitting from woke ‘parent’ organizations.
I know how this ends: ultimately God wins & Satan is defeated. Will America survive in the meanwhile, before the final victory? Sad to say, I truly do not know.

Great post! I gave up on the Methodist church years ago. It was apparent they had a massive liberal bias that does not belong in religion.
If you want the Word, our pastor just goes straight through the Bible one page at a time:

He only shut down a couple months and then sued the Governor and opened his doors. The church doubled in size during Covid.
Great insight on how the churches were neutralized.
Take away the ability to self reflect, find an inner cause to prevail, and faith in a better tomorrow dies.
