Because while the Electoral College vote that elected the President was unquestionably valid, the State elections which selected the Electors were rife with fraud. Democrat fraud.

But the Republican Legislatures of the States in question made no objection.

The reason the post-election campaign degenerated so rapidly into a clown show was that Trump and his people made no effort to engage the only source of authority on Earth that could have changed the outcome, which was those five Legislatures.

Now, it's probably true that most elected Republican officials wanted Trump to lose, and wouldn't have lifted a finger to help him. But that's a GOP voter problem - the imaginary Republican Party that most people here pledge allegiance to, they are all about MAGA and they would definitely have done something - except that they hate MAGA for the most part and they weren't about to do anything.

From the day the Transition Integrity Project published its manifesto, there was no secret about what they were going to do. All the Red Mirage articles in the press the last two weeks in October 2020 made it very clear what was about to happen, and how it would be done.

THAT was the time to act, but Trump and his few loyalists in the GOP did nothing.

Once they were beaten, in EXACTLY the way laid out in the press FOR MONTHS, they thrashed around, sent mentally ill lawyers out to speak, made improperly founded objections to courts with no jurisdiction, and failed to act at the State level in the Legislatures, which, at least, could have done something before December 14, had they wanted to do so.

Once the undisputed Electors voted on December 14, it was over.

You do make an important point there. The Republicans are in effect junior partners with the Democrats. The Grift Must Flow. Republicans seem to be content to take the leftovers from that looter's banquet table. The problem is the loot is starting to run short. It is the Republican politicians who will the first ones kicked to the curb when the swag bag is empty. Then the various Democrat factions will start fighting each other. They will soon resort to lethal measures - which they will blame on Republicans and other "Right Wing Domestic Terrorists"(tm).

Trump and his supporters will make a perfect target for the daily "two-minute hate" sessions. Maybe they will let him live just for that purpose.

The reason the post-election campaign degenerated so rapidly into a clown show was that Trump and his people made no effort to engage the only source of authority on Earth that could have changed the outcome, which was those five Legislatures.

Another unfortunately valid point. But realistically, there was never a chance that any of those five Legislatures were going to change the outcome regardless of legal measures. They are all Democrats. They stole their "elections" fair and square, and they never give them back.

Bitching about stolen elections was never going to work by itself, no matter how the Trump people did it. And as we have seen, "Laws are for little people". It is not a crime when a Democrat does it.

The correct thing to do was to attack the Democrats for the ruinous economic measures they keep inflicting on the American people. Trump is doing that now. It is too little and too late, in my opinion.

Trump wasn't and isn't going to save us. Neither is DeSantis. Neither is Vivek.

Brace for impact.

Give some though to how things should be put back together afterwards - and what must be discarded. (There is always an afterwards for somebody). Consider how to seize power in a time of chaos. Remember that won't be done by entirely peaceful or legal means. The successful rulers will tidy up the laws after the changes. Their unsuccessful opponents will languish in prison cells, or possibly end up in a ditch somewhere.

A large number of people will desperately want to believe the lies of socialism, and most will never give them up. There must be some niche to which they can retreat and "save face" that will keep them grumbling but distracted and inactive. Plan for that too.

I don’t think we have any serious disagreements.

I believe all 5 states at issue had Republican legislatures.

You forgot the most important part.

What happens to normal legal process when the enemy is inside the gates?

—in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct”, and since 1964 “as Congress shall direct” for the 3 Electors the States unwisely gave to DC in 1960.——-
Or as a court may direct, at least since the Court has said recently. There is nothing Constitutional about our Supreme Court other than the think they are Supreme
