Here we go again, right after the dipshit testified on the Hill this week about energy standards on stoves (the one who didn't know what it took to replace a gas oven with electric).

I wonder how they'll achieve this by simultaneously banning gas (as they're doing here on the left coast)...

I performed a comprehensive phrase search of the Constitution.
Zero results for "water heater".
I'll next search the USSC case documents archive to see if the Court has issued a Constitutional opinion on "water heaters".

/sarc (of course!)

To think that resistance heating of cold water intake (what an electric on-demand water heater would do) isn’t a VERY expensive and high installation cost thing if you’re going to want anything beyond using water that the system has already heated and stored is ludicrous. You’re talking about 220-240V at 50-60 amps at least, maybe more depending on how well the system is required to heat on-demand water.

BS. COST MORE MONEY TO REMODEL YOUR HOME, TO PUT IN NEW MORE EXPENSIVE APPLIANCES. Remember Obumber’s low-flush toilet you had to flush twice? The same goes for the new clothes washer. They already screwed up laundry products by taking out the phosphates. Then put expense rinse aids on the market for dishwashers.

Biden administration proposes tighter efficiency rule for new home water heaters

Why do you need extra scents for your clothes? Plain old dryer sheets work kist fine. I prefer them to liquids. They store for a long time. And no liquid laundry soap is not mostly water, I’ve a stock of 1-year-old laundry soap, name brands, that are as good as the day I bought them on sale for 99 cents. Kids think they can eat pods.

Vinegar has been reduced to 4% acidity, good for glass or window cleaners, BUT NOT CANNING, you need 5% white vinegar for pickling.

Long-term medicine shortages likely after tornado damages Pfizer plant (EF3)

I’ve got reports of 50,000 pallets of medicine that are strewn across the facility and damaged through the rain and the wind,” Stone said.

The plant produces anesthesia and other drugs as well as nearly 25% of all sterile injectable medications used in U.S. hospitals, Pfizer said on its website. Erin Fox, senior pharmacy director at University of Utah Health, said the damage “will likely lead to long-term shortages while Pfizer works to either move production to other sites or rebuilds.”

GREEN ENERGY IS COSTLY, AND WASTEFUL
THE FIRST DAY IN OFFICE JOE BIDEN SHUT DOWN THE OIL AND COAL PRODUCTION IN THE USA. THOUSANDS WERE THROWN OUT OF WORK, WHICH RIPPLED DOWN TO $7.00 GAS, AND HIGHER FOOD COST. https://gailhonadle.substack.com/p/green-energy-is-costly-and-wasteful

It is FREE and full of info in the comments.

We are converting everything to electricity. The grid isn’t large enough.

If these cost estimates don’t hold, the heads of the EPA and their immediate family need to face a 20-year prison term.

I just paid my gas bill yesterday. I use natural gas for cooking, heat, hot water and the clothes dryer. My furnace wasn’t used in June. I cook nearly every meal. I dry clothes probably twice per month, but it is all day long. The my gas bill for June was $26.46. I’m getting hot water for way less than a dollar per day.

Do we really need more regulations? How about letting the market set efficiency standards? If enough people want greater efficiency then the market will provide. The government is certainly not efficient in anything they do. They are just a bunch of over paid lazy asses that never built a damn thing in their lives. It’s time that we regulate government and fire about 800,000 federal employees when we shutter massive portions of government. Let’s see if they can survive in the real world. I really don’t care if they do or not.

The question is how much government bullying will the American public take? Maybe lukewarm water will be the straw that breaks the camels back. Truth be known the government has zero authority for any of this crap and it’s only happening through brute force and ultimately at the point of a gun if necessary.

..and water bills annually.

Oh great. A "water-saving" hot water heater. I can't wait. Water-saving toilets and kitchen faucets worked so well. I think I'll just beat them to the punch on this new technology, and replace the 1 inch water line coming in to my house with one that is 1/4 inch.

Oh Goody
Now the government is going to ‘fix’ water heaters, just like they ‘fixed’ toilets.
I guess we can expect a lot of cold & like warm showers in the near future.

They will save billions i’m sure. They just won’t heat any water. Like the dishwasher that use a thimble of water. SO you actually use 20 gallons of water to pre wash your dishes. Engineer to bureaucrat. The question is not how much water the machine uses it is how much water do the person use to wash the dishes. And if they don’t get hot water what type of chinese contraption will people try to use to actually get hot water.
