House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) said he suspects foul play goes back decades among President Joe Biden's family.
Comer appeared on Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) podcast Verdict in a two-part episode, the second half of which aired Friday. The Kentucky representative took questions surrounding his investigation into the Biden family's business deals abroad, including in China, Russia, and Ukraine.
"I'm not shocked about anything," Comer said of the investigation's revelations so far. "I think Joe Biden has been selling access to our enemies for decades."
Comer went on to claim the president has "always been cash-strapped" and also "never had a successful career in investing." He gave those narratives as reasons for the alleged misdoings.
"Then you look at the assets he's accumulated on a senate salary - it's pretty, pretty impressive," Comer said.
"So you're saying a classic Corvette doesn't buy itself?" Cruz joked about the president's car.
This podcast episode comes two days after IRS agents Gary Shapley and Joe Ziegler appeared for a hearing before the House Oversight and Reform Committee. The two testified that Biden’s grandchildren were among the recipients of unexplained payments uncovered by investigators and could not provide reasons behind the payments.

Exactly--It's amazing that ~40% of the population can't figure out how or don't care why a second rate lawyer like Joe Biden became a multi-millionaire by working his whole life as a civil servant.
I've been working in DoD (military and civilian) for almost as long as Biden has been in government and like most hard working, tax paying Americans I have to scrimp and save to afford to take my family on a week's vacation once, maybe twice a year.

Biden was supported by the unions back then, and unions were powerful with two UAW plants in Delaware; one GM and the other Chrysler. Teamsters from Philly were Joe’s buddies too. They shut down the anti-Biden local paper with a strike when Joe ran for the Senate.
I still can't get over the rumors about the execution of Seal Team 6 aboard the doomed Extortion 17 Chinook that the usual MSM suspects quickly labeled "myths." Then there's the killing of 13 Americans and countless Afghanis who helped our troops and the dumping of $billions in equipment during the purposely botched pullout.
IMHO, Joe's dad botched a pullout.
Just check on when Biden first started spending big bucks as a senator. That’ll pretty much tell when the bribes first started flowing.
