Claim down Pat. Go have some milk and shut it

Oh, I get it now.
Saying “Try this in a Small Town” is hateful and racist - yet burning American cities to the ground, looting, destroying property, attacking the police, destroying businesses for night after night after night - without consequence, is A-OK.
Got it.
Downloaded the song yesterday and I’m not a country music fan.

He’s a flaming liberal/Leftist?

The headline and the first sentence seemingly contradict each other.
In the headline it seems to be saying that Pat Boone regards the song as a moral sickness, but in the first sentence it implies that people accusing the song of racism are suffering from a moral sickness.
Which is it?

Boone said the average American who is trained to use firearms should be able to defend themselves against the criminality described by Aldean. Sounds like maybe you should have read the article rather then just the head line.
Go ice your knee. It has gotten a bit over active.

My read of the article is that Boone does think that country has gone down hill, but that he support’s Aldean. The writer seems intent on obscuring the point.
To: sit-rep
I reacted the same with the stupid headline. Pat agrees with the song
To: ChicagoConservative27
Uh, it appears Pat completely agrees with Aldean.

Uh Pat Boone agrees with Aldean And is criticising the woke whiners Yes, the headline greatly distorts what I perceive as his actual position.
In the first sentence of the cited material, Pat Boone appears to be going after those people in the country music industry that are trying to shut down Aldean's song.
But the headline implies the opposite.
