WASHINGTON- Tribal lands preparing for the impact of the climate crisis are receiving help from the Department of the Interior as $120 million is being provided through the Bureau of Indian Affairs' Tribal Climate Annual Awards Program.

The money is set to be used proactively in planning measures including climate adaptation, drought and wildland fire mitigation.

For local tribes like the Yakama Nation, most of the funds will used to address one of the many issues caused by the climate crisis.

The funding is one of the largest amounts distributed by the Awards Program and includes money from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act and 2023 annual appropriations.

The funding is also part of the Biden-Haris Administration's Justice40 Initiative to put 40% of certain federal investments into disadvantaged communities.

Scam handouts to keep them or invite them into the scam. Want continued funding? support our climate change scam agenda.

Much like “scientists” want continued funding? support our COVID agenda or else

"Tribal lands receiving funding to protect from climate crisis."

Sure, all tribal lands will be covered with five dollar bills in order to prevent them from over heating..

I built a concrete block building for an unknown tribe in the Southern Sierras about 15 years ago. I was working under a contractor that was originally from India. Anyway, the American Indian tribal leader took off with the funds for the project. My contract subbed to the general so I got my money, thank God. So the in this case, the fake Indian screwed the real Indian. It’s all corrupt.

More free money for the ruling tribal families to keep them in the privileged life style they have come to enjoy. The rest of the tribe gets $0.00 each.

Indians screw the government for a change rather than the usual other way around.

How ironic. Indians are the most climate-adaptable people ever put on the planet. They survive and adapt from frigid arctic conditions to broiling equatorial conditions. At the end of the last ice age, Indian ancestors adapted to a radically changing climate by crossing the Bering land bridge.

What the Hell can whitey do or teach them about how to adapt to changing climate? If I were an Indian, I’d be grossly insulted…but I’d still grab the big payoff from Big White Chief in Washington.

And none of that money makes its way to the tribal members. YouTuber Peter Santanello visited reservations in the west and spoke with many members. They took him around their reservations and gave him an insiders view of life there. Lots of myths about the reservations shattered. Living on a reservation is another layer of government corruption.

“Bureau of Indian Affairs’ Tribal Climate Annual Awards Program”
The fact that this exists, is proof the entire FedGov needs to be defunded by 75-90%.
Get back to national defense, and interstate commerce, and shut down the rest.
