Check in, Kentucky freepers! Are you OK?
I'm OK. There was a lot of damage last week from baseball sized hail and really high winds not far from me, but I didn't sustain any damage at my house.
We live on a knob. What we worry about is tornados. That really bad one a couple of years ago passed within less than a half mile of our house. My neighbor lost four buildings and roughly 54 head of cattle. We didn’t even lose a tree.
However, when that bad windstorm came through a few months ago, we lost five or six cedar trees. I was in the hospital at the time for open heart surgery. Cutting those things up are on my to-do list I’m finally getting to...
But rain is not a problem for us, unless it goes all biblical. Then nobody’s safe.
