They didn’t meet at the Capitol. They met at the Republican state headquarters. Then they sent in a certificate saying they met at the Capitol.
I don’t defend the law suits... but it is important to know the details of what the indictments will argue.

Can you or someone else explain to me 1) What made them "alternate" electors (self-declared, appointed by, etc); and 2) Didn't their "alternate" status end on December 14, 2020, and if not, why not?
