Asinine interpretation of DeSantis’ remarks. If you read it in context he was saying that Trump did nothing to encourage the protesters and didn’t participate.

Baloney. At the end of that clip DeSantis clearly says: "Trump should have come out more forcefully."

'Eff him.

“Asinine interpretation of DeSantis’ remarks.”

DeSantis says in the video: “He was in the White House...and didn’t do anything...Should have come out more forcefully.”

Okay, explain the context of that, that he was praising Trump.

DeSantis is a lawyer-politicians. He knows exactly what his messaging is.

It's no worse to attack him on this "Trump did nothing" lie than for attacking Pence for his "not my concern" (twice!) statement to Tucker.

I knew Pence was implying Ukrainian tanks but that's not what he really communicated. Twice. Pence knows better, especially as careful and slow as he is with his words. It was saying the quiet part out loud even if it was his subconscious shouting it.
