Used needles left on baby changing table in Sacramento park as city battles ballooning homeless population

Used needles and other drug paraphernalia were found littered on a baby’s changing table at a public park in Sacramento — sparking furor among residents over the city’s growing homeless encampment.

Amy Gardner, a local community advocate, says Stanford Park has grown dangerous to the point where residents have to clean the park’s three public bathrooms themselves to keep needles away from children.

“To think a little kid who might not know could pick up that needle and stab themselves inadvertently, that’s very frightening,” Gardner told CBS 13 about the latest incident Monday

Enforce vagrancy laws, sentence them to 6 months. Send them to New Deal-style CCC camps far away from cities

75% will immediately make arrangements to get off the street

the remainder will at least be separated from their dealers, will be able to get some basic treatment, and most importantly - they will not be infringing on the rights of others, destroying property, or spreading disease by allowing their present situation to continue.

The CCC wasn’t like that. Families with young men (or young men themselves) had trouble getting enough food. They really wanted in. In exchange for hard work they received plenty of nutritious food, shelter, a uniform and a small paycheck—most of which had to be sent home. They also were subject to discipline. If they misbehaved, they were kicked out and the food, shelter, and spending money ended.

Imagine the homeless under those conditions. Requiring work in exchange for food would be declared ‘slavery’. Kicking someone out of the program would be declared ‘racist’ or ‘ableist’ or ‘heartless’.

I heard of a pistol left on a changing table at a local McDonalds. Blood spurts and ODs in the bathroom.

Homelessness, and rampant drug use go hand-in-hand, yet they keep handing out free drugs, and needles to encourage more drug use. This is from 2020 during the scamdemic:

San Francisco gives free drugs, alcohol to homeless quarantining in hotels

I didn’t say or mean that. I just picture putting the homeless “to useful work” would be akin to herding cats. Most need mandatory treatment for their drug and mental health issues, but that’s not likely to happen.

And with the current political ‘Clown World’ climate, it wouldn’t be the homeless or the criminals who would find themselves locked away at an institution or ‘camp’, it would be those who don’t toe the correct line.

One more blue city hellhole... what a yawn.

The good people need go get off their behinds and move to a red state. Or STFU and quit whining about needles on baby changing tables. Can’t have it both ways.
