I built an AR-15 with a Bear Creek barrel. I made the mistake of ordering the bolt/bolt carrier assembly from Anderson. It failed to pass the headspace gauge test. I ordered a BCG from Bear Creek and it fit perfectly. Passed the test. Lesson learned. Buy your barrel/BCG from the same supplier to ensure the parts work together. Lots of parts are nicely interchangeable, but not all.

Yes. Agree. And thanks for heads up. Most of my parts are from Anderson. Including 18” 1:8 barrel.

I am impressed with the precision of their forged or die cast components, but chose not to use some components.

Have good friend that is a gunsmith. He will be inspecting final stage. I don’t have go/no go gauge, he does. I have tools for rest of assembly. He has built several hundred of them.

When I have the stock and fore grip installed I will go visit him again. Have know him from childhood. It is a small town.
