Ron DeSantis torches Donald Trump on policy:
"He promised to drain the swamp. It got worse. He did not drain the swamp. He promised to have the Mexico pay for a border wall. They did, like, 50 miles of wall. There's massive expanses still there. He said he was going to eliminate the national debt. They added almost $8 trillion to the debt in four years and, of course, in 2020 he turned the country over to Dr. Fauci, and those lockdowns and the borrowing and printing really sent us on a bad course."

I apologize if it offends you
I think more people are aware now, its not just pointing out reasons why you think they shouldn’t vote for someone, but that you also need really good and convincing reasons why they should vote for you.
The more Ron speaks, the more weasley he sounds to me. Just the vibe I get from him. I don’t think he’s 100% genuine/real to people.
You don’t need to apologize. You can post what you want. After Fox fired Tucker, Fox died to me.
Oh I agree with you there but a lot of primary voters watch that channel so it’s important I tend to think to monitor their output...
BTTT
Seems childish and naive.
Okay… I will tell you how Ron could win the nomination…. He has to convince Fox to let him tell the truth about both the 2020 election being rigged and the vaccines killing us… if Ron can do that.:: he can win. But if he is a pussy he will lose. Trump isn’t a pussy but there are kinks in the armor. Trump can’t be touched because we all know the election was rigged, except that the vaccine is deadly and we all know that. My guess is Ron will be a pussy. But we shall see. If Ron wants to be President he is going to have to go all in… my guess he will be a pussy. Does great work but still not his own man…
FOX SPEWS!
1. The “Mexico will pay for the wall” was a campaign slogan. Not really a promise. After a while, Trump explained it away as saying the wall lowers U.S. expenses to deal with illegals coming across the southern border. This was a sufficient explanation for Trump’s hard-core followers. Others who supported Trump just looked at this as politics.
2. The swamp got worse seems to be true, but maybe isn’t. Trump’s confrontational style invited more Democrats within the government - long-time civil servants but also in the military and elsewhere - and some Republicans within the government, to resist Trump. This started before Trump became President, with the FBI cooperating with the Hillary Clinton campaign and Senator John McCain in going after Trump, and continued through Trump’s administration. But, wasn’t this swamp always there?
Clint Eastwood’s movie “J. Edgar,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, shows how the FBI became a law unto itself over the course of decades, under J. Edgar Hoover. One of the reforms we enacted to try to get a handle on this agency was to fix the term of the director of the FBI at 5 years. Obviously, this wasn’t enough of a fix. I’m an anxious to hear what actual reforms candidates will propose. My own idea is that career FBI agents should rotate out of Washington, to the field offices, to keep their focus on law enforcement and avoid drifting into politics.
3. That the U.S. government went bonkers during COVID is true, but so did just about every other government. You might think the U.S. government, being as big as it is, could resist a worldwide panic. But, no, we went along with it.
In real time, what Trump did was fine. He mobilized the resources of the country to deal with the possibility that COVID was, as people like Fauci said, 10,000 times worse than the ordinary flu. By the time we found out COVID was something like 4 times as bad, and that the bio-engineered vaccine had side-effects worse than COVID, it was maybe too late.
Of all the western countries, maybe Sweden dealt with COVID the best (not that they didn’t make any mistakes; they, too, messed up on nursing homes). But, the U.S. was too big and too diverse, and Trump never established himself as a credible leader beyond his hard-core followers; and, so, our goose was cooked.
Ron sounded desperate—shrill—not presidential. Only if Trump is taken out or forced to drop out does DeSantis have a chance. BUT anything can change—WW III could end the Republic long before the first vote is cast.
Big time desperation... I don’t think the swamp got any bigger but Trump certainly showed us how bad it actually is.
Ron isn’t clean on the vaxes himself. He knows that. He and Trump were taken for a ride by the left on the vaxes.
Poor establishment controlled Ron can’t run on policy and can’t even write down what his policies would be, because they are not America First.
What’s next — Chris Christie criticizing Trump’s physique?
Too cute by half. Made no allowance for all the hysteria at the time surrounding the Couf.
He’s right about spending. Trump listened to Mitch too much.
Ron DeSantis cosigned and introduced the Puerto Rico Admissions Act of 2018 to make PR the 51st state.
Let’s take a closer look at what he did while in Congress.
