Former President Donald Trump will call on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to “get back” to Florida and “do the job he was elected to do,” during his keynote address at the Turning Point Action Conference in West Palm Beach, Florida, according to prepared remarks obtained by Breitbart News.
“It is time for Ron DeSanctus to get back here and do the job he was elected to do—be the Governor of FLORIDA,” Trump’s prepared remarks say. “He’s got to get home and take care of business.”
Trump will urge DeSantis to return to Florida to address the home and car insurance crisis affecting the state.
“He’s got to get home and take care of the insurance situation which is the worst in the nation,” Trump will say.
Trump’s remarks come one day after AAA announced it would not renew home and car insurance for some of its policyholders in Florida, joining Farmers Insurance.
“All the money he is using for a hopeless cause, his election, should be used to support the party winning against Crooked Joe Biden in November 2024,” Trump’s remarks continue.
Trump will suggest funds going to the DeSantis campaign should be put towards an operation to address the “Democrats’ cheating and ballot harvesting.”
“Now is the time when Republicans should be using those funds to build a state-of-the-art vote-gathering operation to swamp the Democrats’ cheating and ballot harvesting,” Trump’s remarks say.

Was Trump wrong March 2017, when he accused the Obama/Biden Administration of spying him? No he was not, but who believed him?
Despite the despicable and malicious behavior of Obama, Biden and Hillary, which recent POTUS was as successful as Trump? Look at what Trump accomplished for the majority of Americans:
Gas price per gallon was about $2.30;
Inflation about 1.4%, mortgage rates were half of what they are now;
Unemployment was low before Covid and before Blue Governors shut everything down and we were in the midst of a V-shaped recovery until January 22, 2021;
Tax decrease; tax laws promoted small businesses as well as large;
US enjoyed energy independence - No Green Agenda, no war on energy, No Paris Treaty;
No war in Ukraine, no threat of nuclear war, NATO paid its way;
China was quiet and we were winning the trade war;
US companies were bringing home well paying jobs due to well executed tax treatments;
There was peace in the Middle East, aka Abraham Accords; the US Embassy moved to Jerusalem; and Iran was isolated.
Trump got three non-left “I don't know what a woman is” Supreme Court Justices on the bench allowing Roe vs Wade to be overturned.

The above is why Putin behaved himself during the Trump Administration. Putin invaded the Ukraine under Biden just like he did under Obama when he claimed Crimea.
Who the heck can accomplish the above in four years while being impeached twice and investigated by the Obama/Biden Weaponized Agencies?
Trump received 11 million more votes in 2020 over 2016. Never has a sitting President lost when receiving more votes in his reelection bid. Trump increased his vote total by 17+%. Trump can claim victory in 17 of the 18 bellwether counties but still “lost” according to the Dems/MSM?
Do you really believe that Bumbling Biden received 15 million more votes than Hillary? That is an amazing and unbelievable 23% increase in votes for Bumbling Biden than Hillary. The election was stolen.
DeSantis like Trump will lose to the Dem/MSM election fraud machine.

DeSantis has been steadily doing GREAT for Florida. Every week or so the legislature and DeSantis have major wins.
Well l agree, he is the best Governor in the country and it’s not even close. He could use this as an escape hatch to back away and let things play out a bit. Unless the rats are successful (assuming they want to be) in abusing the legal system to get Trump off the board the nom is his.
Time for Ron to admit it is over and endorse Trump. He is getting terrible advice from the GOPe.
He does need to back off. I thought he was running because no one runs the first time out and wins, so you gotta run, build a war chest and friends and contacts, and win the second time out, such as in 2028.
He’s not doing well in that department. He is logically great, patriotically excellent, but he needs more of an extroverted personality’ He can practice that, but he doesn’t have it yet.
Always with the childish insults and name calling to members of his own party. Beyond foolish miscalculation, estranging those who he needs if/when he gets the nom.

Running for the nomination of a party is not dividing it, it's giving us voters information to make a choice. Info to make a choice? A good thing, and calls for participation in spirited debates.
Uniting? Ha! Name-callers are not uniters, they are the dividers.
And why does Mister Trump think that we owe the nom to him? I'd prefer someone diplomatic, presidential, and who thinks before acting or commenting. I'd prefer someone brave enough to face questions that many of us have in a real debate.

Insurance is a HUGE PROBLEM HERE,
"President" is an honorific that I use for those presidents for whom I have the greatest respect, for example President Reagan, President Eisenhower, President Lincoln, and etc.
Trump does not measure up for me, if he does for you, then that's totally fine w me, my FRiend.
