NEW YORK, July 16. /TASS/. Ukraine has lost about 20% of military equipment and weapons since it started its counteroffensive, the New York Times reported on Saturday, citing US officials.

Equipment losses have recently dropped to 10% as Ukrainian troops essentially stopped advancing in many areas, the report said.

The newspaper said US officials agreed to disclose only the percentage of losses, declining to provide hard numbers of destroyed equipment.

So they lost 20% on the offensive and got half of them back when they quit attacking. So they need to just stop for a while until all their stuff comes back. Kinda reminds me of my stock portfolio. Still waiting.....

I don’t want this war. Putin wanted this war. He started it by invading Ukraine. Russia has a new ‘red line’ every five minutes. It’s annoying. I don’t like Zelenski or his puppet master Soros, but the escalations are now inevitable. It’s no longer a war Russia can win, that opportunity passed after the first 4 weeks. Now it’s just getting people killed and threatening ‘nuclear exchange’ for nothing. I didn’t want to see Ukraine become a major military power in Europe, but Putin has seen that it is now. Soon, it will get aircraft and it will escalate even further. Now, every former Russian client state wants to be NATO, and it’s dangerous, because Putin and Russia keep invading their neighbors. It’s a stupid war with stupid prizes, advocate for ending it.

The last thing Putin wanted was this war. Ever since the Obama/Soros gang took over in 2014 the US has destabilized the area. The West forced the Russians to move with the threat of parking the largest offensive military behemoth the world has ever seen on the Russian border, a days tank ride from Moscow. Couple that with the constant Russia, Russia, Russia lies and the threat of forced regime change coming from the top leadership at NATO and the West got exactly what it wanted, an excuse for a reckless proxy war to further their woke globalism. It’s the US constantly invading, not it’s neighbors, when they pose an existential threat like NATO does to Russia but aggressive, illegal actions all over the world, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and now Donbas. The Russians will not allow the 16th final domino to fall. They’ve made that very clear. The will fight WWIII before they submit to further woke, globalist NATO hegemony.

“The last thing Putin wanted was this war. Ever since the Obama/Soros gang took over in 2014 the US has destabilized the area.”

Everything you said I agree with except the part about Putin not wanting the war. There were good financial as well as strategic reasons for Putin.

“The West forced the Russians to move with the threat of parking the largest offensive military behemoth the world has ever seen on the Russian border, a days tank ride from Moscow.”

You all aren’t paying close attention to the West. The reason all of these nations are joining NATO is that 1)They are afraid of Putin invasions. 2)They want the US to pay for everything. 3) They are to small to stand on their own. Most of all, you have yet to notice that the US may still be a huge power, but it’s not a “Superpower” anymore. Nobody is going to Moscow. They couldn’t motivate anyone in the West to make that trip.

“It’s the US constantly invading, not it’s neighbors, when they pose an existential threat like NATO does to Russia but aggressive, illegal actions all over the world, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Bosnia and now Donbas.”

You can leave Afghanistan out, they started it. Iraq, probably didn’t need to happen twice. Vietnam, LBJ war. Bosnia-Clinton distraction. To my knowledge, US hasn’t invaded Donbas. You have a very good point though. We, as a nation, seem to be STUPID and keep trying to police the world or interfere in everything. Lots of people here don’t want to be involved with Ukraine—seriously. The longer it goes on, the more equipment, munitions, money, aircraft Ukraine gets.....and I don’t think that is a good idea. It doesn’t seem that the US ‘Intelligence’ services have considered ‘blowback’ on that.

Russia demands to have a neutral buffer on its border here. Through Ukraine is how some current NATO members have traditionally attacked Russia killing tens of millions. Until DC unilaterally ended the balance of power politics that had kept the peace in Europe since 1945, this was accepted by all. Imagine Mexico as the 30th and newest Warsaw Pact nation (England and France numbers 28 and 29). Imagine the new Mexican president, a Moscow installed stooge, was inviting as much Warsaw Pact armor along the Rio Grande as Moscow wanted. Imagine the leadership in Moscow was also screaming about forced DC regime change. That’s the situation the Russians found themselves in. Of course they went to war. Who wouldn’t fight under those circumstances? Incredibly, DC never thought through what would happen in response to their reckless hegemony or they just don’t give a damn.

After multiple invasions right through Ukraine, French, German, ect. You have my sympathies here. Ukraine should have been neutral, not NATO. This is about Soros/Obama, Biden ect. I see the Russian side on this. I agree, they were reckless, greedy, and stupid.

How do you get peace in Ukraine so the conflict just doesn’t start up again?

Job number one is to get the Obama/Soros gang out of Ukraine. Trump tried that and got impeached over a perfect phone call.
