There’s always quakes, I spent most of high school and first year of college in Alaska, great place. If you are going now, I presume some fishing?
While I was down here without my phone, I missed a tornado warning, with the center of rotation passing directly over my town at 8:00 AM local time, and my wife asleep upstairs. Massachusetts has tornadoes, occasionally. One in 1953 killed 113 people.
Thanks for posting.
A tsunami watch and then advisory were in effect for about 2 hours after the earthquake.
My brother is the one that does the fishing cruises in Alaska - dad too before he passed - both said it was the best fishing in the world. My brother looks forward all year to these trips.
We are going on a “pleasure cruise” - my daughter was unable to have her wedding during the COVID lockdowns, she and husband got married at the courthouse, to my daughter’s great disappointment - I suggested we take the $$ we had set aside for her wedding and use it for a family vacation instead, since the wedding is now completely off the table.
