Russia Uranium Plant Blast Kills 1, Injures Many
Newsmax ^ | 14 July 2023 | Michael Katz

One person was killed and more than 100 were hospitalized Friday in an explosion at the world's largest uranium enrichment plant in central Russia's Ural mountains.

The incident in a workshop at the Ural Electrochemical Combine in Novouralsk happened after a cylinder with depleted uranium hexafluoride was "depressurized" at about 9 a.m. local time, according to Rosatom, Russia's state nuclear corporation, which owns the plant. Local news outlet E1 referred to the incident as an explosion.....

Vyacheslav Tyumentsev, head of the Novouralsk Urban District, told residents not to panic.

"I appeal to the residents of Novouralsk with a request not to panic, not to spread messages through instant messengers," he wrote, according to E1. "Take care of your loved ones, explain to friends and family that there is no danger. The situation is under control."......

People that use screaming caps (1998 FR lingo) look like they are trying to convince themselves.

As for looking up old posts from 25 years ago (assuming you actually looked at them), that's what we might expect from someone trained in the Soviet Union, Tovarishch L.

And another question is whether this accident actually did involve depleted UF6.

U235 isotope half life is 703.8 million years. That's the reason .72% of natural Uranium is U235 while the vast majority is U238. Hence the need for enrichment plants (i.e., gaseous diffusion, centrifugal, laser, etc.) for reactor full and weapon uses. The bombardment of U238 with a neutron is what creates Pu239 via a Neptunium decay.

“depleted uranium hexafluoride “ that’s really bad ass stuff. Not the depleted uranium, the hexaflouride acid.

“UF6 dissociates into HF in moist air. Very very bad.”

I didn’t know that, just suspected it. Maybe I should keep my cat away from my fifty gallon drum.

(just kidding CIA/ a civilian would have no way of getting ahold of that)

“Presumably the employees in the building (100?) had full face respirators.”

Doubt that wouldn’t do squat against HF

It only took one me going through one one set of your posts (less than 400) to find get to your posts from 25 years ago.

So it sounds like you don’t deny that you’re here for a specific purpose, rather than engage in civil discussion. Feel free to let the mods know if I’m missing something.

“Sadly, though (for civilians), the Neocons will have to learn the above the HARD WAY, as they’ve been learning about Western “Wonder Weapons” getting wiped out in Ukraine.”

>>>>>>>>>

Which warmongering Neocons are you talking about?
The ones who invaded Ukraine and annexed 4 regions plus stole Crimea, grabbed land areas in Georgia and in Moldova?
If you mean those Kremlin Neocons I agree that they are super efficient. They grab an grab and expand the size of their Empire.

The Americans Neocons though are bad and very inefficient. They haven’t annexed any land or country at all. Shame on American Neocons to be so sleepy... Wake up guys, take something! Learn from the Russian Neocons!

He took a year and a half off RIGHT after the 2020 election [11-10-2020], and returned first week of April 2022 for anti-RuZZian agitprop.

Anyone from back in the day knows that the posts associated with the LAT/WP lawsuit timeline were deleted.

Though there are some who retain those posts.

Is this Russia’s only nuclear fuel processing plant? If so their nuclear weapons production, such as it is, is going to have problems. Dmitry Medvedev already suggests that despite official numbers, the US has more nuclear weapons than Russia.

Russian nuclear bombs are already deployed and likely able to EVADE anything the West has.

Russia has the ability (and has had the ability since the 1960s) to destroy major American cities. And the United States has the ability to destroy every Russian city. That's not news.

Meanwhile Russia has mobilized hundreds of thousands of troops and have been training them for months.

Impressive! Too bad that secret army was nowhere to be found when Wagner captured Rostov and marched on Moscow with no opposition.

“And the United States has the ability to destroy every Russian city.”

HAD the ability. The Russians since have the S-500, and soon the S-550, both of which can intercept ICBMs. What modifications has the US made to be able to get our nukes past those air defenses?

Oh, that’s right, we spend more on our military than Russia, so no need to upgrade.

Yep, couldn’t believe it. Took me all of 2 screens to find postings from over 20 years ago. It takes close to 1000 screens to find my postings from that long ago (and no doubt some of the people next to him have downloaded them all, but, chuckle, chuckle, they won’t find anything useful!).

OBVIOUSLY he he’s been activated again for a reason, and thanks to the Twitter Files, we have a pretty good idea what that is.

The reason why everyone’s posting history is public is so that people like yourself, who only get activated for specific purposes, can be easily identified.

If you don’t like that, feel free to close your account here.
