In Desert Storm 1990, I had been retired from military for 6 years. Got a letter alerting me I may be activated and to get my shit together...will, POA, uniform up to date etc. Never was called back.
At the end of Desert Storm the Navy send out a message for Reservists to volunteer for 6 months. I volunteered, but I never heard anything more. I think they’re still laughing.
