The anti-child sex trafficking film that’s faced criticism over its QAnon ties has grossed more than $50 million at the domestic box office, Deadline reported, making it one of the top 25 highest grossing domestic films of 2023 so far.
The Sound of Freedom is based on Ballard, a former government agent, and his pursuit to save children from human trafficking. But the film has been criticized for its apparent ties to the QAnon conspiracy theory, which promotes the idea that Satan-worshiping political and media elites run the world and are involved in a child sex trafficking ring. Caviezel has reportedly spoken at multiple QAnon events, where he has promoted the QAnon theory that child traffickers drain their victims’ blood to develop adrenochrome, a chemical theorists believe Hollywood elites inject to stay young. Ballard has also previously suggested support for the debunked Wayfair conspiracy theory, which posited the furniture retailer was selling children online

Only the Pedocrats are saying that.
What exactly is “controversial” about the movie? It’s against child sex-trafficking. Are there people actually rooting for the bad guys on this issue?
It is only controversial because the left is in favor of child sexual abuse of all kinds!
Yes.....that’s why they’re PEDOCRATS!!!
The Left doth protest too much.
Don’t they usually say “alleged” when baselessly accusing someone? I wonder how they manage to leave that out of “certain” stories, but admonish others not to “jump to conclusions” when dims are accused.
The issue is never the issue, except for us, where the issue is child sex and human trafficking, and it’s ALWAYS the issue.
The left would rather let people hump your kids if it gets us closer to the revolution; we would rather protect our children at any cost and by any means necessary. That’s why we’re supposedly “controversial.”
I’m so old I remember the left competing with each other over who could shout “Me Too!” the loudest.
I was thinking the same thing-—Controversial? Is 90% of the world perverted evil scumbags and this is “offensive” to them?
And it makes the left feel bad about one of the lowlife groups whom they enable. Or it should make them feel bad about it.
But it won't, it will just make them feel angry that a courageous filmmaker exposed it.
Non controversial movies about human trafficking:
Certainly! Here is a list of Hollywood movies released in the past 20 years that explore the theme of human trafficking:

4. The Whistleblower (2010)
5. Lilya 4-Ever (2002) (Swedish film, but included for its relevance)
6. Taken 2 (2012)
7. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) (Although not solely focused on human trafficking, it touches on the subject)
8. Love Sonia (2018) (Indo-American film)
9. Dirty Pretty Things (2002) (While not primarily about human trafficking, it includes elements of it)
10. Priceless (2016) (French-Belgian film)
11. Skin Trade (2014)
12. Human Trafficking (2005) (TV mini-series)

14. Trafficked (2017)
15. Taken 3 (2014)
16. The Trade (2017) (TV documentary series)
This perversion is more widespread than I thought, apparently. Flak is coming from all sides.
Controversial?
Here’s picture of the writer.
Looks as queen as a 3 dollar bill.
Would Forbes care to present evidence of that statement? I'll wait.
Whenever an article refers to “Qanon” I dismiss it outright. There is not, and never has been anything named “Qanon” That is a made up term coined by the left to smear anyone who has a theory on the evils of the left. Q has not been active for a couple years. If was most likely a psyops event. However, many of the “conspiracy” theories talked about in those threads turned out to be spoiler alerts. Not all, but some.
Goodness, a lot of people must be into Qanon stuff. *tee hee*
The more they squeal the more informed people make themselves.
Yes they are.
