Trump one ONCE in 2016. Since he didn’t hire good attorneys, pay for recounts, etc., he lost in 2020. He’s trashing Republicans almost more than Democrats, setting up a loss in 2024 if he manages to become the nominee.

I’ve always concluded the election was stolen. But it doesn’t matter whether it was stolen or not at this point. Trump did not hire good attorneys and did not pay for the necessary recounts. 2020 is now over and history, plus the 2018 and 2022 losses are now history. The challenge is 2024 and Cillizza is playing folks, Trump is helping pprepare for a Democrat victory—a good campaign for them, bad for Republicans. Bad for us.
The Big Guy doesn’t have much of a campaign, matter of fact the campaign headquarters is a post office box.
Republicans will face Gavin Newsom in the general. Democrat superdelegates will ensure he’s shoehorned in.
At that point it will be difficult for any Republican.

The nomination is Trump’s. Pure and simple. The entire base is well aware of the duplicity of every other GOP RINO, which is every one of them. The support of a few glow in the dark fans notwithstanding, the other candidates are wasting theirs and our time.
Trump? Who knows. Remains to be seen, but I am right at, “All opposition is controlled.”

Everyone knows the media is always very complimentary toward the GOP candidate they’ve wanted to face. They did it in 2016, but it just unexpectedly backfired. That’s why they were so furious and hated Trump so much. It’s because they help the guy they thought was going to be a layup. They then defeated him as incumbent in 2020 and figure they’ve got his number again in 24.
As you said, it doesn’t really matter if he was cheated or not, he was caught flat-footed and unable to protect the election from their meddling. It didn’t help that he created the whole COVID response regime by listening to Fauci that really laid the foundation for them going state to state blanketing mailboxes with ballots for every Tom, Dick and Harry to ever live at any given address.
It could be that the media misjudges again. Maybe Biden will drop dead next October and Kamala will be the candidate. Maybe Trump will be in prison and receive more sympathy votes than anticipated. It’s not out of the realm of possibilities that Trump could win again, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
