Is the US Low on Ammo?
Armstrong Economics ^ | 11 July 23 | Martin Armstrong

Sun Tzu suggested appearing weak to your enemies when you are strong. He did not suggest appearing weak when you are already weak. The world knows that America is having trouble recruiting new soldiers, and now the world also knows that America is low on ammo.( see link- Biden’s admission).

Biden has completely abandoned all domestic policy in favor of the proxy war in Ukraine.

Biden revealed his cards at a CNN town hall meeting. “The Ukrainians are running out of ammunition, the ammunition that they used to call them 155-millimeter weapons. This is a— this is a war relating to munitions, and they’re running out of those— that ammunition, and we’re low on it. And so what I finally did, took the recommendation of the Defense Department, to not permanently, but to allow for [their use] in this transition period,” he announced. It is completely unacceptable that the US is depleting its own supply.

Cluster munitions are banned in over 100 countries. “Last year, WH Press Secretary Jen Psaki called the use of cluster bombs a ‘war crime.’ Now President Biden plans to send them to Ukraine. Stop the ceaseless escalation! It is time for peace,” Robert F. Kennedy tweeted. “Biden was opposed to cluster bombs in 1982 as well, when he opposed their sale to Israel,” Kennedy noted in another tweed. “What happened to his conscience?”

The White House covered Joe’s mistake and said that the US will ramp up production in the coming months. They claim that the cluster munitions are now permissible to use since Zelensky promised not to drop them on civilians. GOP candidates Pence and Haley are cheering the decision. So who is the real war criminal?

Mercouris discusses the ammo shortages in detail. Open source documents from the Pentagon and DOD come to the same conclusion, as of last month at the current welfare amounts, ( Ukraine’s manufacturers have all been destroyed), they have less than 200 days left IF they conserve AND Vlad somehow stops destroying their ammo dumps….in other words: fix bayonets!

They are the ones that caused the shortage.

So who is the real war criminal?

The real criminal is Martin Armstrong, the author, who was convicted of running a Ponzi scheme and served a total of eleven years behind bars.

30 years of bombing small nations into regime change, combined with the woke, anti-white Obama cull of officers means there’s no one in DC who even knows what artillery is or how its used.

We are low on ammo. And we are low on morale. But we are fully stocked on idiotic pronouns.
So it’s all good! We are prepared for any “woke” pronoun debate that China might challenge us to.

——-
If you say so…not sure of your awareness. Record drug deaths, record student debt, record credit card debt, record inflation ( since the 80’s), boys in girls locker rooms, men in woman’s sports, men in woman’s beauty pageants, Trans xYz in every government agency, gay marriage, record national debt, record amount of children living with their parents, record low military enlistments, ..
And on and on.

If this is your “ norm”, fine. It is not mine, and I know many people suffering.

Ukraine never made 155mm.

Ukraine made Soviet 152mm.
Ukraine is sourcing 152mm from various countries that still make it, and production is increasing.

But 155mm is more available internationally.

155mm production is increasing globally, but it seems there is a crunch. One cannot say “a 200 day supply” because production is ongoing. Ukraine will always have ammo. The problem is the rate at which Ukraine is firing off ammo.

Whatever rate of artillery shell production exists in the world, the production capacity outside of Russia, China, and Iran is much higher than that available to Russia.

Ultimately, the USA, Europe, Japan, South Korea, Brazil, Australia, and many other nations can make far more ammunition and weapons of all sorts than Russia can, even with help from China, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, and Venezuela.

To think otherwise is foolish.

The US Army knows very well how its used.

And it’s not supposed to be used like Russia and Ukraine are using it. In WW2 the business of endless bombardments went away (changeover was in late 1918), in favor of short high intensity concentrated fires followed by attacks. This had the effect of suppressing the enemy, permitting breakthrough followed by maneuver warfare. Destroying the enemy through endless bombardment was out of favor. Indeed, such a short, sharp use of artillery was also Cold War Soviet doctrine.

Both sides in this war have to do the WWI thing because neither side has the logistics to feed reserves through a breakthrough, neither has sufficient mineclearing resources, nor can either effectively use airpower to break the situation open.

If you want a look at a classic case of a WW2 style breakthrough of a heavily mined defensive line, read up on Montgomery’s attack at Second Alamein. Verdun and the Somme were way back in the rearview mirror.

Both sides are substituting prolonged artillery bombardments for the things they lack.

And it’s not supposed to be used like Russia and Ukraine are using it.

Both sides have active missile defense systems. And they don't have stealth aircraft. They can't use much armor either. All you can do is to use infantry or artillery in this conflict.

“This is a— this is a war relating to munitions, and they’re running out of those— that ammunition, and we’re low on it.”

Not just us, we’re also cleaning out the stocks of our allies and leaving them virtually DEFENSELESS should they need to use their 155 guns.
