That cartoon has it all wrong.
Reagan never would have supported pushing a puppet regime into war with Russia. He never would have taken millions of dollars under the table from Ukraine only to leave them high and dry.
Reagan would be effectively working for peace. Instead of inflaming the circumstances from the White House.
Right, when Reagan had the military take over Grenada, when he armed the Contra's in Nicaragua and when he sent arms to the mujaheddin in Afghanistan who were fighting the Soviets, "Reagan would be effectively working for peace". Okay
