The U.S. Air Force is cutting the list of jobs that qualify for its special bonus pay and has so far released few details about which jobs will fall victim.
An Air Force board, formed to review Special Duty Assignment Pay, reduced the number of jobs that qualify for the bonus money last month, slashing the number of jobs that qualify for the pay from 103 to 70 ahead of fiscal year 2024, and has refused to disclose which jobs will no longer qualify for the bonus, according to a report from Military.com.
Special Duty Assignment Pay can range anywhere from an extra $75 to $450 per month for service members taking on some of the service's toughest assignments, with many members choosing the assignments because of the extra money.

Or Zelensky.
Well, recruiting numbers have been super stellar…
The overweight transgenders won’t be happy.
Must be pricing in the new immigrant army.
Our Government is incompetent.
Honor Guard for Biden’s embark and debark from Air Force One is probably one of the most difficult posts to be assigned. (Emotionally that is) I wonder if it is on the block?
“Our Government is incompetent.”
It’s not incompetence.
It’s malice.

They need that money for salaries for the woke teaching crowd. You know those clowns, two digit IQs or less and no means of getting any kind of a job that would require producing anything that anyone actually wants.
Die, woke, die. Then die again, and again. Get it, turds?
I hope not. I know I have seen an E-9 saluting at the steps.
Imagine that’s your last duty…
There never seems to be a rhyme or reason to which AFSCs get extra pay.
I was enlisted for 9 years in a critical field (avionics). I couldn’t cross-train or PCS (move), but there was no bonus.

A Harbinger.

One that indicates or foreshadows what is to come; a forerunner.
Never mind...this is not reenlistment bonuses...
These adjustments are made from time to time. Has happened for decades.
Not all service members want their spouses to know exactly what they make. I knew many who had their checks and pay vouchers sent to the company, not their homes.
I’d rather be outside in December at Thule AFB…
Those diversity assessment jobs and psychology sessions for trans persons are not cost free. Cuts come from other units.
Perverts, well, that's another story.
Apropos of nothing, I saw recently that the Navy increased it re-enlistment bonus for nukes to $75K (non-nuke max is $50K).
Sounds like a lot of money.
BUT
I got to thinking in 1976 I got $15K in nuke SRB and it sounds like a lot less, but the purchasing power was actually much greater. In 1976 a new Chevy Malibu was just over $3k so you could buy maybe 5 Malibus with your SRB. Now they’re a little over $25K so you can buy maybe 3 with the bonus.

Fully appreciate your points but Fox’s point was how terrible that only the active duty person could access this data. My experience has been that some service members did not want their spouse to have that kind of access.
