EVs in the US and not enough buyers? Well, EVs and China also has not enough buyers.
"Electric Car Graveyard: Thousands Of EVs Left Deserted By Chinese Car Sharing And Rental Firm"

As one watches the "lawmakers" here as in Europe mandate EVs, one may be sure that the unintended consequences, already seen, will magnify greatly. Electric grids worldwide are not handling the relatively small number of EVs, as the "zero carbon" politicians try to crush hydrocarbon production and use. This predicts economic disaster, while the increasing subsidies will have to come from -- ta-da! -- taxpayers.
As with the military-industrial complex, we now face a pharmaceutical-industrial complex and an "zero emissions" industrial complex as well. Pay up. The few who are profiting need our money! And lots of it!
This is because it is important to the Communists to be able to trumpet how they lead the world in EV manufacturing. But they aren't being sold, so...they stick them out in these fields. This is just one field:
You're not complying with the "program." THERE IS A GOOD REASON, so they say. Zero emissions. Climate change. Ya-da, ya-da. MO< We are in agreement, as to "let the market decide how many EVs should be out there."
This is exactly why the governments -- plural -- pushing EVs are writing laws to mandate, at first by denying new cars with internal combustion engines, then by denying older vehicles via denying registrations and the like (which is being considered). By an EV or else. That's not letting "the market" decide.
well 5 year plans are fun for all
LOL, in the Soviet Union, it was boots that grew mildew in warehouses when nobody needed them, because they needed workshoes or belts instead.
Now, it is Communist China with EV’s.
It won’t get really ugly until everybody has an EV. Including the millions of illegal alien freeloaders imported into America by the bottom feeding, Brandon administration screwballs. I doubt they’ll ever have enough charging stations for everybody.
He paid $44 billion for Twitter, which has only made a modest profit in two of its seventeen years.
Musk and Twitter are now facing highly focused, in your face, deep pockets competition from billionaire Mark Zuckerberg.
Tesla makes a solid profit, but it has been forced to cut prices twice in the last twelve months because of intense competition.
Tesla stock is currently selling at 80X times earnings, which is a very high risk, highly speculative value.
I like Musk, and I am cheering for him, but he has dug himself a very deep financial hole to climb out of.
Time for another ‘Cash for Clunkers’......................
There was a hybrid humvee in the 90’s built like that. very quiet in electric mode as a scout. one 75hp motor on each wheel. don’t know what the army did with it. They were also doing things like the humraam, an amraam launched from a humvee, and losat, a kinetic impact missile launched from a humvee.
So how does using AC and electric heating cut into to battery life on a trip
The Tesla Model Y is the best selling car (not truck) in the US currently.
Honda Two-Motor Hybrid System
It works like a diesel electric, except it does use a battery, rather than capacitors.
Charging concerns...
Now there’s a euphemism.
I wonder how many residences in NYS still have 60A services...🤔
Here’s why....

Note to all those buyers from this taxpayer: Still haven’t gotten my thank you card in the mail.
Not to mention the very real possibility of getting mugged while charging the car in a public charging station.
This is why the lefties are pushing to ban gasoline-powered cars. That’s the only way EVs are going to sell. Right now the only ones purchasing them are virtue-signalling elites.
The BMW I3 has an optional ‘range extender’ generator as an option...
We stopped at a restaurant in Upstate NY a while back that had a large charging station.
There were a couple of cars charging when we arrived.
Hubby and I had time for a leisurely lunch, a trip to the restrooms, a few minute wait in line to pay, a chat with the person ringing us up, and when we got to our car those sane two vehicles were still there charging.
We stopped at a gas station nearby and were on a way in 5 minutes, tops.
If folks want to wait, they can.
But I won’t be one of them.
Not to mention that I’ve had to run people to various ERs over the years.
I know what the response time for an ambulance can run in my neck of the woods.
I’ll never own an EV.
