When looking at potential candidates running for office without a voting record to base judgment on, I look for red flags.
To me, voting records are the best indicators.
I knew exactly who Mitt Romney and Ted Cruz were when they ran for president due to known quantities, which was the reason I did not vote for Romney and did vote for Cruz in the primaries.
Without voting records, candidates can say anything they wish, without a single vote to prove anything. This is the political unknown where Vivek Ramaswamy comes from.
Beyond being a Hindu, which in my mind means that Ramaswamy cannot hold the Judeo-Christian views this nation was founded on, there are serious red flags that attach him to Soros.
In 2011, Ramaswamy was the beneficiary of the Soros Fellowship, which was used help cover the costs at Yale for a future law degree.
His connection to anything Soros related raises serious red flags, especially with Ramaswamy never bringing up that connection.
Rather than addressing that questionable connection, he chooses to pretend as if he was never a beneficiary of Soros.
And it seems that his ties to Soros have continued beyond 2011:
Through a link at the Soros Fellowship on news and events for 2020:
“Roivant Sciences announced today that it is working with regulators in the United States and around the world to advance the clinical development of Gimsilumab, an anti-body that could prevent and treat acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), which has been widely connected to the COVID-19 virus. 2011 Paul & Daisy Soros Fellow Vivek Ramaswamy, the child of immigrants from India, is the CEO and founder of Roivant Sciences.”

Frankly, I just don’t know, but I think Zero was groomed to be a presidential candidate, as Trudeaux, Arden, Macron, etc.
We do need to be careful. People can seem like the real deal and then a year later we learn another side to them. Nikki Haley comes to mind and I’m sure people here could make a list of a few others.
Early on, I followed Vivek on Twitter. He always gave me “grifter” vibes. Like he did a course with Tony Robbins and now is out to sell others on his big ideas while conning them out if money.
His Soros Fellowship was not George Soros’s, but rather endowed by older brother Paul and wife Daisy. Paul's wiki states the fellowship is for talented, accomplished immigrants or children of immigrants who have been associated with organizations dedicated the ideals of the US Bill of Rights. I know little of Paul, perhaps he twists words as well as his notorious younger brother, and wiki is far from a conservative benchmark, but it’s not superficially damning.
He declined the WEF title of "Young Global Leader" and took WEF to court to have his name removed from their listing.
IIRC his parents naturalized before his birth, making him a Natural Born Citizen by all but most stringent of the array of disputed definitions of that term, those that require grandparents have been citizens. Which as Cruz pointed out, could disqualify Trump. I can’t resolve that definitional dispute but would love a Justice Thomas written SCOTUS decision to settle it. Obama proved the Framer’s wisdom in including the term, but legal uncertainty in its precise meaning is counterproductive. Outside the "Natural Born" subset Vivek supports general citizenship for children of legal immigrants, but not for children of illegals, which IIRC does NOT make him a hypocrite on the subject.
Conservatives have often been fooled and burned by alleged converts. Checking backstories is important to avoid that. Yet true conversions are not rare and include many greats, amongst them President Reagan. They are valuable and their conversion experiences may help others covert. We should apply his method, "Trust but verify."
I will have to re-check that link I provided. But there are many others reporting the same information, including video of him. Regarding his parents, why don’t you provide a link please, because I sure could not find one. The only references I have or that his parents Were Indians from India without mentioning their legal or illegal immigration status, etc. Any thoughts on his other points?
Well, how are you doing?
Don’t have a link at hand. Just my recollection of reading their naturalization dates preceded his birth, back somewhere around when he entered the race and I was asking, “who’s that.” If I find link I’ll try to remember to post it.
Took 160-million-dollar loan from not Paul Soros, but George Soros himself.
Vivek said that? Is that true?
This put to shame all the RDS haters who claim DeSantis is a globalist, but Trump is not.
???
Haven’t seen you in a while brother. Things are well for the most part. About a fifth of the UMC has split off. Others are walking away when their churches don’t.
