On Saturday, Chief Judge Jeffrey Sutton of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit issued a preliminary injunction that allows Tennessee’s law to prohibit health care providers from performing or administering cross-sex procedures on minors to take place, a week after a federal judge blocked it.
“Because Tennessee is likely to succeed on its appeal of the preliminary injunction, we grant the stay,” Mr. Sutton wrote.
Tennessee was one of several states this year to pass legislation to shield minors from cross-sex surgery, procedures, and hormones, which fall under the umbrella of “gender-affirming care,” and many of these laws are now being contested in the courts.
Many states are now in opposition to the Biden administration’s position on such procedures. As with the Tennessee law, they argue that irreversible decisions with lifelong impact should not be made rashly by people under the age of 18, especially without parental oversight.

Even the article was difficult for me to follow. I think below is what happened?
1) Tennessee bans trans-cult from harming children.
2) Federal judge orders an injunction (to pause?) the new law.
3) Sixth circuit judge stays (stops?) the Federal injunction, allowing the new law to take effect.
That we even need a law to prevent the genital mutilation of minors is almost unbelievable. Even worse almost every state that passed it has had some rat judge block its implementation. The father of lies has been busy indeed

I remember when Jen Psaki was still White House press secretary, she outlined that the White House position was that “gender affirming” care was part of best practices by the medical profession.
And she warned states about passing laws restricting transgender medical treatments, and hinted at legal action.
So we see lawsuits against states have been filed.
And remember last year, when that TRANS INFLUENCER POSTER BOY/GIRL, Dylan Mulvaney visited Joe Biden? At their public event, Joe said that he was against any restrictions of any kind on all these transgender surgeries and cross sex hormone shots. So the official White House position, is to oppose ANY restrictions that states might place on these procedures.

It is a bit odd, but I think they worded that way because a lower Court had issued the injunction preventing the law from going into effect. The Sixth Circuit judges simply said, “Yes, it can”, thus “allowing” it to be implemented in the states in that Circuit.
