Jersey has a history of weak Republican politicians. If you wanted to come up with the complete antithesis of everything Donald Trump is, it would be hard to find a better opposite than Christine Todd Whitman.
What other Jersey Republicans do you have?
Tom Kean?
Chris Smith is good for a NJ Congressman, but that is the top of his range. He can't win statewide, let alone nationwide.
I have a soft spot for Malcolm "Steve" Forbes Jr., but a pit bull he is not.
All the other names from Jersey are Democrats.
