The California Supreme Court found that giving her workers’ comp could set a precedent that would imperil the system.
So the rest don’t matter...maybe her claims are legit...maybe not...
But the real reason is right there.
If workers comp claims were paid out to people who claimed they came down with an illness that was transmitted to them in the workplace, then every company that could do so would go to a 100% work-from-home business model tomorrow.
