Ocasio-Cortez previously worked with Gaetz on convincing their colleagues to do more to address the growing demand for legislation related to the mind-altering drugs

As long as we can hold anyone accountable as having “premeditation,” who does an illegal action while under the influence, I could be fine.
Anyone doing something that purposely stops rational thought and behavior should mean they planned whatever evil comes out of that.
Gaetz is a repeat embarrassment. Hopefully he is primaried next year.
The pair are trying to promote more federal research on possible medicinal benefits for psychedelics."
Now they want medical LSD. That is what is high (pardon the pun) on their priority list?
The “it’s medicine” stage of normalization.
These drugs should be legal in old folks homes.
This is their legislative priority? Eff it up so bad and instead of fixing it, drug the voters so they do not care.
Or maybe he’s not as gay as he looks and thinks this will help him score AOC.
Its not just old folks homes either. People with mood disorders who have had to be on expensive meds every day have been known to get better after one exposure, some only once or so a year.
Cant have a single $.38 mushroom screwing with tens of thousands of profit for Pfizer or any similar organization. I mean where would all the perfectly safe and effective medications come from then?
These people are vile. And pot legalizers are on record decades ago bragging about using bogus claims of "medicine" to gain acceptance. Now they do it with psychedelics and still have some a^^holes believing those too are "medicine".
He won’t be because he’s a huge Trump supporter
Exactly, that and the .gov drug running trade. If we had legal Ibogaine clinics we’d make a huge dent in the addiction problem but they’d lose profits due to Ibogaine’s incredible effectiveness. Instead of seeing the medical benefits, we only hear the inflammatory trigger words, e.g. psychedelics, mushrooms, hallucinogens, etc. Also, for all the known healing benefits of the terpenes in cannabis, it’s criminal they aren’t being compounded according to need, but it doesn’t suit big Pharma because they’re natural substances, so send out the trolls screaming about “Reefer Madness” so the ignorant stay that way. I have a colleague that was a 12 time loser through rehab for cocaine and alcohol. He devotes much of his time to educating groups about Ibogaine research and it’s use. He used to take patients out of the country for treatment and got a lot of people set free from addiction. That’s a HUGE loss of money from a regular user. I prefer taking people to church and getting them delivered, but...!
I had a buddy who stuttered very badly, he took some mushroom pills a friend gave him and stopped stuttering.
Why this happened I don’t know.
FTFY
Criminalization simply gives excuse to empower the govt to ignore the Bill of Rights.
In studies psilocybin has been shown to be the most effective treatment yet for depression. And no, not administered in ongoing recreational use.
Depression is a huge problem for a LOT of people.
It makes sense. Hallucinogens are the only way to make the Biden “presidency” look normal/good.
Conservatives don’t do or legalize psychedelics. Not good for children to learn these are okay, either.
It’s got to stop being socially acceptable to be talking about mind twisting drugs as “medicine”. F*ck “studies”. Like regarding pot, “studies” are junk science to help normalize drugs, funded and put forth by a drug legalization conspiracy that’s been out to wreck our society since the 20’s. Only “cures” from this crap are cures not objectively verifiable, and symptoms variable, such as depression, many cases of epilepsy, “pain” etc. This track talk should be kept around the druggies’ bong, and them under a rock whether they belong. Promotion of these drugs should not be free speech just like promotion of communism and violent overthrow of the government. Society must finally reach its last whit of tolerance for these subversives, at last.
