How is it unconstitutional? It’s a party decision about who the party puts on the ballot. If a person doesn’t want to participate within a party, then he shouldn’t benefit from it.

uh, so what are the consequences of ignoring the pledge of loyalty should the losers subsequently simply remain silent or even renege?

No republican can win without Trump’s endorsement.

Stupid high school mentality. And a lot of chutzpah after the Republican Party spent 6 years undermining, roadblocking, conspiring, framing and obstructing Trump.

The only thing a loyalty pledge does is enrich the scumbag consultant class.

It's telling that the Florida GOP is looooaaaded with scumbags from the consultant class.

It’s the same political party that has shown they colluded with the left in several states to sanction or commit election fraud, so Trump lost in 2020.

So, if they GOP gets Trump to sign a loyalty pledge, then force him off the ballot in several states, so he can’t in the primary, would they hold Trump to the loyalty pledge and make him endorse someone like desantis?

Most probably.

So why give the backstabbing GOP any advantage with signing a loyalty pledge?

And as far as penalties, I’m not sure. The national RNC could arbitrarily make up some new rule for candidates, and enforce it by keeping them out of the primaries or the general convention.

I’m fine with voting Independent for Trump. If the GOP really wants to push it, I could see a whole new party springing up. The GOP does not have as strong a hand as they think they do. I would happily change and never look back.

Receives $10 million from repub party of FL. Pays repub party of FL $80 million.

Takes donor money and buys repub party of FL for $70 million. Need the law changed so you can run for president while governor? No problem. Wanna buy some delegates with that?

Looking like some dirty pool politics going on. Cali GOP is trying to do some funky shiot too. FL + CA = a LOT of delegates.
