911 is a joke.
TWO DAYS? That is ridiculous. They need to Defund the Police!
They already did; that's the genesis of the problem.
Um...useful idiots vote in even bigger idiots into government. What did everyone expect?
Well, the APD did say that non-emergency calls would have longer response times due to under-staffing.
In their defense, she was already dead, right? /s
It did not take the police two days to respond.
When the body was found, it had been dead for two days.
Police and any government agency are not your friends, saviors, referees, family counselors, or pastor.
You are a nail, and they are a hammer. As a nail, don't call hammers.
When seconds count, the Austin Police will be there in two days.
“When seconds count, the Austin Police will be there in two days.”
It did not take the police two days to respond.
Isn’t Austin where Californians move?
Delayed to deceased? Hey, he ain’t gettin’ any deader!
Maybe she was just pining for the fjords.
Well, she was already dead. That means she had no priority!
I have noticed extremely slow police response lately.
I have been t-boned by some kid. Luckily no injuries.
The kid was actually polite and apologized and confessed.
Since there were no injuries, they left us in the middle of very busy street in the hot waiting for two hours.
But then two! police cars showed up!
It used to be one policeman showed up in similar situation very fast and took care about it.
Now they are understaffed and for security reasons they always show up with backup! Even in rather friendly collision case.
My point (oblique as it was) was that they obviously didn’t defund enough. Cut the police budge in half again. If that doesn’t end crime, cut it in half again. Keep going until crime stops.
