When I lived in California, CARB was using the excuse of air pollution to cancel Labor Day barbeques in advance, claiming "spare the air" days a week in advance.
This has nothing to do with the environment and everything to do with leftists using their power to stop patriotic celebrations.

I live in San Jose and don’t have to go to any supervised fireworks show. I can pull up chair on my front porch and and watch several of them in the neighborhoods. And, I can enjoy some adult beverages.
