Storms. Big deal.

The first and only time I’ve been on television was back in 1969. I was a freshman at Mizzou and got to the St. Louis Lambert Field for a flight to Philadelphia. Bad weather caused extensive delays, so I curled up agains a post in the waiting lounge. Totally unbeknownst to me, a local TV crew was filming the disgruntled passengers and took a shot of me. I found out about it when I got back to school and my buddies said “Hey, you were on TV!”

You’re lucky — at least that was a benign TV appearance. I have some friends who still insist they saw me on the TV news looting a store in the nearby city during a blackout some years ago. LOL.

We hear about disgruntled people, all of the time.

How's come we never hear about the gruntled ones?

Things that make you go...Hmmm!🤔
