Banks (and credit card companies) should not be allowed to “debank” anyone unless they are using their bank accounts in some illegal activity. Debanking because of political views is nothing more than a totalitarian tactic.
Banks aren’t that different from public utilities in that entry to the industry is restricted, and they should not be allowed to refuse service because of political views.
Banks never did political enforcement before. Suddenly it’s what they do.
