My wife and I have witnessed it firsthand.
Way back about the time of the St. George, the Floyd fiasco and before Lowes started locking up the most vulnerable items, we were in there shopping. A black guy came in each with a cart, went to the electrical section where we happened to be and just heaped that cart up solid full of mostly 14/2 and 12/2 Romex cable and then immediately beelined it right straight out the door. Meanwhile, his compadres apparently went to the tool section, loaded up their carts with tool batteries, whatever tools they could grab and also headed out the door about the same time as another shopper mentioned what he had just witnessed there..
No one even attempted to stop em. No one said a word...it was like nothing happened. I got a hold of one of the asst. managers there and told him what just happened and he told me that “it happens all the time”.
We were amazed.

Large cities are the leaders of decline the result of inept leadership

Washington, D.C. was like that when I was growing up. Gentrification is fairly recent. But it looks like it is going to stop now. A Washington football player was shot in the city a while ago.

The feds will probably concentrate in the northwest where the federal government is located while rest of the city turns into a "no-go" zone. No difference from Paris, really.

I’ve said it before - we need FDR style CCC camps - far out in the country

Enforce vagrancy rules. Anyone picked up on the street goes to “camp” for 6 months, where they can work and/or be treated for addiction. Get them away from their dealers and away from the city.

**********
Yep,

March them out & dry them out.

“The Fairway supermarket on the Upper West Side is guarding $6 cartons of Häagen-Dazs with bolted plastic tops”

Assuming one can get the carton out of the store, just cut off the bottom to get to the ice cream.

It’s just a bit of informal “reparation”.

We have a local mini-warehouse chain that is ruthless when it comes to prosecuting shoplifters. They’re very vigilant and will throw you in handcuffs in a heartbeat and then call Troopers to take you to jail. Shoplifters also get banned for life, which can mean a much longer drive to get groceries. This outfit does not mess around.

What’s happening today is not shoplifting. Back in the day, shoplifting occurred when someone went into a store, looked around to see if anyone was watching, then slipped an item or two under their coat and walked out. Today, these thugs walk into a store carrying a hefty bag, don’t care who sees them, and proceed to fill the bag up with as much merchandise as possible. That’s not shoplifting, it’s looting.

The ‘security gadgets’ companies are making a fortune.

Was in Lowe’s on Wednesday-—they were everywhere-—cannot blame them.

The corporations will close all the stores in black majority towns. KFC should remain open for drive through. But maybe limited hours from 11 am to 7 pm. Liquor store will remain open but no one can get inside them, all the transactions will be done through the bulletproof barrier.

Democratic Strongholds Are Seeing Their Tax Revenue Plummet
Free Beacon ^ | 6/30/23 | Karl Salzmann
Posted on 7/1/2023, 6:30:19 AM by CFW

Heavily taxed blue states such as New York and California last year had some of the country’s most drastic drops in tax revenue. At the same time, Republican states are enjoying the highest revenue increases even as they keep income taxes low.

Under Democratic governor Gavin Newsom, California has turned a $100 billion budget surplus into a $32 billion deficit, Bloomberg reported Friday, forcing the state to trim its “lofty climate change program, delay funding, and increase internal borrowing.” In this year alone, the once-Golden State has seen its tax revenue crater by nearly 25 percent as it hemorrhages wealthy residents to lower-taxed states.

Again: Increased Shoplifting, is a small price to pay to eliminate mean tweets!

Yep. It is all rather connected, isn’t it?

When freedom to operate in a capitalist society, along with an agreed upon contract of law and order which all abide by, are the guiding principles in a nation, that nation tends to succeed. When a nation recognizes and protects the freedom of speech, religion, property-ownership, and self-defense, that nation not only succeeds but also thrives.

When the basic principles of freedom are discarded, or are never instituted in a society, that nation will always eventually fail.

Our nation thrived because of the principles upon which it was founded. Mainly, a recognition of the rights bestowed upon us by our Creator. Once we began discarding and ignoring those inherent rights, our nation began its downward spiral. Unless and until our nation comes together and once again upholds, cherishes, and celebrates our founding principles, our nation is headed for failure.

I see a future when all stores are membership only. No card no entry. You enter a caged area to shop. Only exit is through check out.

Duh. Since America condones bad behavior, what do we expect?

Wanna stop this crap? Give the cops night sticks and crack skulls. It was an effective law enforcement tool. Steal a car? Throw a rope over a tree.

It's time for the FBI to demand a standardized system of crime reporting.

If they can't do that they should issue reports stating which of the democrat hellhole city's crime stats can't be verified.

Companies looking to open a new branch or relocate need to know the truth about a city's crime. Fraud's especially ugly when it comes from democrat mayors with help of the FBI.

That’s how corrupt democrat mayors justify the lies - they say ‘we need the jobs’.

And of course the corrupt liberal ‘elite’ press is more than happy to support the lie because their mayors have a “D” by their names. And they’re too stupid/corrupt to see past the talking points handed to them by democrat war rooms (yes, with fewer subscribers and viewers) newsrooms shrunk... and ‘need’ the help.

I popped into a Dollar Tree store near me only to notice the place was dirty, merchandise all over the floor, 60% empty shelvesand all abnormal conditions for that store.

I asked the cashier if they were closing and she said yes. The store has too much shoplifting going on.

Robberies of businesses have increased like crazy this year with liquor store holdups being the worst. Physical violence in terms of physical assault, shootings, domestic violencce and murder increasing notably the first half of this year.

I listen to the scanner regularly. The scanner says a ton more than the news does. The local news reports less than half of what goes on and some of it is pretty spectacular.

Before things got worse, there were over 100k cases of domestic violence per year. I don’t know the new numbers, but the injuries are more and more violent.
