President Macron was last night facing calls to impose a state of emergency after marauding gangs of rioters - some armed with stolen rifles - clashed with police in a fourth night of mayhem.

The teenager's funeral is being held today to the backdrop of large parts of France being engulfed by fires, violence and devastating riots.
More than two million Britons are set to travel to France as the summer season begins, with officials now imploring tourists to take out travel insurance as they claim it is more important than ever.

I cannot understand a “government” that doesn’t exterminate “savage hordes of vermin” and “marauding gangs”. Does the public pay taxes to let barbarians prey on their citizens with impunity? I can only assume the French police are being held back.

If Macron were SMART, he’d make a phone call to Moscow and ask Putin what his terms are regarding the deployment of the Wagners to France as I hear the Wagners are looking for some more fun.
France now has between 5 Million and 10 million ‘new arrivals’ including their descendants, out of a population of 60 million or so. Given that the vast majority of those coming off the boats are fighting aged men, and the high birthrate of those already in France, one could reasonably estimate that there are 4 Million or so non-French men of fighting age, already now in France.
I think Mark Steyn had pointed out, maybe 15 years ago, that Europe was quickly reaching the point that there simply would not be enough armed male Europeans (police and military) to defend their countries, should a mass uprising happen. It’s quite possible that France has reached this point, and if so, God help them...and, even though it may be too late, THERE WAS PLENTY OF WARNING that this would happen.
Does France have a vote of confidence provision?
I haven’t followed this so closely, ‘cause, well, it’s france.
But am I to assume these are all Gitanes smoking, cheese eating, sailor stripe and beret wearing cowards? Or is it men of fighting age, seeking asylum from violence their cronies have inflicted upon their failed homelands?

France can’t go 50 years without throwing out the government and creating a new one.

Look at it from the Leftist viewpoint:
1. European society literally created the modern world.
2. The modern world has given us wholesale destruction of the environment, overpopulation, Global Warming, etc.
3. The modern world has also given us nuclear power and nuclear weapons.
4. The modern world also gave us the horrific wars of the 20th century.
5. And before that, the modern world gave us colonialism.
SIMPLE SOLUTION: Put and end to a Europe that is populated with Europeans. If that’s done, the world will regress and the problems above will be solved. (and, of course, the same for the US and other Western countries)
NEVER underestimate the intelligence of the Left, they knew that they needed to win elections in order to get into positions of power necessary to pull this off, and they have done that.
