Clay Travis has been a guest on a number of shows lately and always looks uncomfortable and ill at ease. I think he is in over his head. The Rush substitutes were almost always of superior quality and I had hoped one would be selected to take the three hour Rush slot. Buck Sexton is a good host for local programming and Clay Travis needs to just stick with the multiple Internet efforts he always talks about. Between the two, the former Rush program has become a daily discussion of Travis and his sports connection and vacations with family and Sexton trying to keep up with mundane family activities. A clue to the political thinking of both hosts is their promoting Ann Coulter as an infrequent guest. I really tried to stick with them but recently just gave up.

When the Rush Limbaugh how was still looking for a permanent replacement, I heard Buck Sexton’s name and never even heard of Clay Travis. It is weird as I still can’t tell by listening which one is which, but the weird thing is I was originally thinking it was supposed to be Buck Sexton’s show, but the title of the show is the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show. How did this unknown guy Clay Travis get top billing over whom I presumed was the actual host of the show?
