Just had a thought. What do you think, were Michigan school teachers given immunity?
How many Michigan lawmakers will prove to the world that they are “mishuganas”? This proposal is totally insane and should be derided and unanimouslsly rejected and the author censured for bringing tomfoolery into their chambers. Yes, tomfoolery, is a man.

If the state of Colorado cannot force a website creator to create a website for a same sex marriage then I doubt this law compelling the use of language under pain of financial loss will even survive a challenge in Federal District Court. The SCOTUS decision today is not in any way shape manner or form limited in its authority to the Colorado case.
People should just stop using pronouns as a protest.

I also suspect that any gestapo cop trying to enforce this illegal diktat will find himself facing a constitutional sheriff on a dark road. Michigan has a good number of these sheriffs.
As I believe, you can call it Socialism, Communism or Bidenism. It always ends up with the elites eating high on the hog and the plebes eating out of their garbage cans. Just look at Venezuela’s downfall.
If a person is in a difficult situation and feels compelled to use these self-ascribed pronouns, I suggest using scare quotes.
You would be, after all, merely quoting what a person called himself/herself/itself.
There are 3 ways to use scare quotes for a person’s pronoun preference, e.g.:
1. Hold up both hands and make quote symbols like the peace sign when saying a preferred pronoun.
2. Say “quote” and “unquote” before and after the preferred pronouns, respectively.
3. In print, put preferred pronouns in quotes like this: Billie started “his” period today.
