Fox News’s Martha McCallum threw Florida Governor Ron DeSantis a softball question on how he could turn his floundering campaign around. His reply? “We’re happy with what we’ve seen so far.”
McCallum first queried: “You’re at 19 percent, which I think is a little bit lower than you were prior to this… are you frustrated by the polling you’ve seen so far?”
DeSantis initially tries to not answer the question, immediately pivoting to “defeating Biden” as well as his “story and philosophy.”
McCallum pushed back, asking: “What do you think is the catalyst that moves these numbers?” DeSantis, again, attempted to pivot, before concluding, “We’re happy with what we’ve seen so far.
So far, however, DeSantis is down in almost every poll since his campaign announcement, with his staff mired in controversies, and his most vocal online supporters becoming subjects of intrigue themselves.

Yup. Poor strategy. He should have aligned with Trump and set his focus on 2028. Simple solution with no negatives. Oh well…
The little bull from Florida decided he wanted to ‘lock horns’ with the Big Bull from Queens.
He chose his path and will have to live with the consequences.
I’m not a fan if his decision because it’s going to cause unnecessary political blood & treasure to be spilled in the primary. The only beneficiary will be Biden.
Yep.
That’s from when he is was in Japan and was asked the same question and answered it with, “I’m not a candidate.”
Well, Ron, now you are a candidate and went down another 10 points. Can you explain that?
(He has a little problem explaining that so he dodges it again.)
Then the other day he was asked if Trump violated the transfer of power on January 6. He didn’t say no and dodges that question.
Can never seem to get a straight answer from Desantis on much of anything.
Then he expects us to believe he is going to do all of these things when he cannot even answer softball questions.
Not hating. Just saying. He might want to change his approach.
Trump was hamstrung by the appointment process and the chokepoint at the Senate.
McConnell deliberately never recessed the Senate so Trump could make recess appointments.
So he was stuck with appointees that the Senate would pass eg Chris Wray.
McCain said he would vote against anyone else. And with a 1 seat majority, that was it.
If DeSwampis actually wants to do anything against the UniPArty he will run into the same problems.
But he doesn’t want to do anything, so they will get along just fine.
Just like he gets along with the media, Disney, Just like all the illegals he flew to Martha’s Vineyard? You seem to have selective Amnesia of the positions he actually does take and who he fights against. But then again nothing beats a good ol gaslighting narrative.
No-one would be building battery powered school buses except for the fake CO2 panic cooked up by Democrats and leftists.
For DeSwampis to go along with this voluntarily, he validates Democrat CO2 climate messaging, and sets up for future Republican losses as they become more and more fanatical on CO2 (and now the new Nitrogen farm panic).
But that is the role of the UniParty and false conservatives like DeSwampis - to be defeated and validate leftist messaging and priorities as legitimate: while helping corporate donors cash in.
In addition, you’re telling me a single Senator in turtle single handidly thwarted Trump? Our turtle out maneuvered, outfoxed, and outplayed Trump? Is that what you’re going with? And McStain? The ol windbag also outplayed Trump? Meaning there was nothing at all Trump could do whatsoever to apply the pressure needed to push the candidates he wanted through?
Maybe that 4D chess wasn’t so 4D after all. He took who he got because that’s who he wanted. Still, an exceptional leader but if those roles were reversed to RDS you wouldn’t be singing the same tune.
Really? CO2 fanatical? Can you please share with the forum his speech on this CO2 fanaticism? You seem to throw around a great deal of accusations concerning his positions but have yet to post a single thing that puts him in that light. So far you’re giving Goebels a serious gaslight run for his money.
DeSwampis voted for the Trans Pacific Partnership. (same as that other “great conservative”, Ted Cruz)
He jumped on board with the Ukraine War after his donors demanded it.
Those are 1,000,000 times more important than some PR gesture of 45 illegals to Martha’s Vineyard (out of 30 million illegals).
The Democrats are the fanatics on CO2.
Guys like DeSantis “compromise”, but the Dems keep moving the Overton Window, the DeSantises of the Uniparty kept compromising, and the Dems win and win and win.
And we lose and lose and lose.
That why it is so important that Trump absolutely refuses and denies the C02 panic.
And here we go again with your hypocritical litmus tests. Did you know Trump was pro choice then changed his stance when he ran for the presidency? Did you know since the vote to grant more authority to Presidents concerning trade (hence TPP was done Desantis has been on the side of protectionist?)
But we won’t talk about Pro Choice will we? Want to know some other stances? We could play this back and forth all day but I think you get the picture; your hypocrisy shows. This is far too easy Rev
“Trump was pro choice then changed his stance when he ran for the presidency?”
He changed long before he ran for POTUS, after seeing his friends’ child, knowing they seriously had considered abortion. That was years before 2015.
At this time in American history, I don’t understand why abortion is “the” thing. It’s sinful. Murder. Unspeakably monstrous. But it never EVER will end as long as people don’t recognize the evil.
The more our First Amendment rights are stolen, the harder it will be to change the hearts of people. Christianity is being squelched. Ministers are being arrested. “How will they hear without a preacher?”
When hearts are changed, abortion will be recognized as the evil it is.
Abortion is the issue we see on the surface. But we have to stop thinking like Democrats and go deeper, i.e., doing a root cause analysis in order to be able to change the future.
A revival is our only hope.
Just look at the article, NEW REPUBLIC. A solidly anti-conservative publication.
It’s says “ Ron DeSantis is taking his idiotic “war on woke” to new, extremist levels.”. It’s clear they HATE Desantis.
So Desantis Freeper haters explain that. Oh it’s like this? 3 dimensional chess? From the democrats that are so stupid they think boys are girls and their leader shits his pants in front of the Pope?:
They Installed Desantis as a secret puppet of the left. He has been acting conservative for decades…fighting woke leftists all as a cover?
Left media, leaders have all been acting like they hate him as part of the ruse when they love him and are doing all this to get Trump?
New Repulic actually loves Desantis but acts like they hate him….LOL🤣.
PS
I guess the ROLLING STONE is in on the 3-d chess Ruse as well, they really love Desantis? They just accuse him of being with Nazis to keep you from voting for Trump. (didnt they say the same thing about Trump?)
The view is faking hating Desantis as well…
Some Freeper Desnatis haters use the claim Soros supported him in a speech…except that’s fake news:

I could share more articles but I don’t think it’s a issue of what’s reality or not here, this is all emotions.
The Deep State™ is trying to use DeSantis as a backup strategy to knock Trump out of the running if the indictments don’t work. They will not allow DeSantis to win the election.
Bud Lite all the way around!!!
Donate to the Trump campaign.
DeSantis has not been on the side of the protectionists.
He just told donors last week in a private meeting that Trump’s tariffs were “not effective”.

Different public-facing and private-facing positions and agendas is what establishment conservatives are all about.
DeSantis: Very deceptive and fake !
