Fox News’s Martha McCallum threw Florida Governor Ron DeSantis a softball question on how he could turn his floundering campaign around. His reply? “We’re happy with what we’ve seen so far.”
McCallum first queried: “You’re at 19 percent, which I think is a little bit lower than you were prior to this… are you frustrated by the polling you’ve seen so far?”
DeSantis initially tries to not answer the question, immediately pivoting to “defeating Biden” as well as his “story and philosophy.”
McCallum pushed back, asking: “What do you think is the catalyst that moves these numbers?” DeSantis, again, attempted to pivot, before concluding, “We’re happy with what we’ve seen so far.
So far, however, DeSantis is down in almost every poll since his campaign announcement, with his staff mired in controversies, and his most vocal online supporters becoming subjects of intrigue themselves.

Before we laugh at the above, perhaps someone should ask him what his point is in running. About all I can see is DESTROYING his potential career in national politics.
In other words, maybe he’s sick of Karl Rove and every other MAGA-reject supporting him, so he’ll just flame-out and then go back to doing what he’s best at, which is being governor of Florida.
His campaigning really needs work.
We can’t face a Gavin/Big Mike ticket with a lackluster campaign.
Sure he’d be a good President but it doesn’t matter if he can’t campaign better.
That’s what all DeGlobalist fans are hoping for.
They think that they will “Inherit” Trumps voter.
MAGA and most Independents know the indictments are a political sham.

Heck, he could have WALKED into the Senate, given his record in Florida - no reason to lose like Romney. But now that he’s pissed off the 80% or so of the Republicans who are MAGA, he’ll have to fight just to be elected to Dog Catcher.
Just makes no sense, unless, LITERALLY, everyone around him wants him to fail, including his wife and that Ukrainian babe running his campaign.
