In the 17th and 18th centuries young soprano male singers were castrated so that they could sing in the Italian church choirs.

Castration was usually done before the boys reached the age of puberty, preferably age nine. After the operation, they were able to retain high notes when singing.

Each boy was then referred to as a “castrato" and in groups, they were called the “castrati".

Today the Left is returning to that barbarity in a regression that puts humanity into a cesspool.

Also, the eunuchs have a long history in China. Only eunuchs were allowed the position of Grand Secretary and they were the only guards permitted in the Forbidden City at night. The mutilation of young boys was finally banned in 1912 when the Qing Dynasty was overthrown.
