I like them both. I think DeSantis is a great governor, ya kidding Id leave this crap state of CA tomorrow and move to Florida tomorrow if I could. Hate the infighting, wish Trump and DeSantis could let bygones be bygones and come together

I too hate the infighting!
We will need every vote we can get in ‘24 and a circular firing squad isn’t going to do it.

"wish Trump and DeSantis could let bygones be bygones and come together"

DeSantis needs to apologize to the people of Florida, and then Trump for his back-handed run for President. Trump endorsed DeSantis for Governor before he'd even announced his run for the office. If it wasn't for Trump, Andrew Gillum would have been elected Governor. The race was very close.

DeSantis wasn't even into the sixth month of his second term when he announced his candidacy for President. You don't wake up one day and simply announce your candidacy. It takes planning, and quite a lot of it. You need backing, and money, and that doesn't come overnight. It takes months for things to fall into place. I believe when DeSantis ran for Governor last year, that he was already planning on running for President in 2024. All he needed was to cement a second term to springboard from. I believe he lied to the people of Florida last November, while planning behind their backs to ditch the Governor's office for The White House. And on top of it, he did the same thing that Charlie Crist did when he was Governor. He got the State Legislature to change the "Resign to Run" Bill so he wouldn't have to resign to run for President. Crist did it when he was Governor, because he thought he had a shot at being McCain's VP candidate. When it didn't happen, it didn't bother to change the law back. Rick Scott did that, and on the same day DeSantis announced his run for President, he signed the new law so he'd still get a paycheck while testing the Presidential waters. Talk about self-serving a-holes.
