Interesting! I've been under the impression that states get the money for road repair from taxes at the pump on gasoline and diesel fuels.

Well it seems I am in a minority on this.

I recently got an electric vehicle, which was inexpensive, and I can charge it up overnight. Now granted I am in Vietnam, which has a massively different transportation infrastucture than America, and do much less travelling than I did in the US, but I like it.

For me it is hugely easier. Though only because the charging is very simple.

Cheap too. I have a small, cheap rechargable vehicle. But I don’t know if I would have this option back in the states. Much lower population density there, and MUCH less aggreeable weather there, which would be a major challenge.

Also hugely further distances required stateside.

But here, it is perfect.
