I hate to spoil all the exciting conspiracy theories-but the reality is that the kid’s mom almost certainly got a lump sum settlement-generous and undisclosed-in return for allowing Hunter the deadbeat to terminate any parental rights/claims he might have. The article says alimony was reduced to $5K a month. With H's history of substance abuse and age, I would think it wise to get as much as possible up front. $60K a year should go a long way in Independence County, Arkansas.
