But it is a good question. Is being a lawyer, even one in uniform, actually an honest job?
It's more of an honest job than declaring bankruptcy and stiffing your creditors and contractors. Nobody who cannot manage their own finances should be in a position to manage the nation's IMHO. Our deficit reached the $1 trillion for the first time on Trump's watch. Time to elect someone younger, someone who will actually still be around when the bill for all this borrowing comes due. Someone with skin in the game. No more octogenarians of either party.
Fanatics are unable to move their attention from their obsession.
It makes them quite boring to the people who do not share their obsession.
And leaves normal people filled with an amused distain for the object of their obsession.
